The Marksman Pistol is no more "OP" than the musket

 

Both can be easily countered, as long as you're not an idiot that believes the best strategy is to stand still while shooting

 

I remember people complained about the Musket when it first came out, Rockstar did nothing about it for good reason, these people were just complaining because they didn't know how to use and/or avoid it

I love this gun, it's so much fun, I wasn't expecting it to be, was thinking it's going to be like the musket, super crappy, but I was surprised it wasn't bad.. As many people have mentioned before, the reload time perfectly balances the gun out, not to mention I have notice quite a few times some people didn't die from one shot and still had around a third of health left.. So I dunno how it works sometimes, weird ass design..

It's not OP as we had a much better version, the Musket, that didn't break the game. The Musket can 1 shot around level 60s. The Marksman can 1 shot around 40s.

The Marksman pistol is my favorite then comes the Ap Pistol, this gun is very powerful, i was on the freeway and this guy came trying to run me over with his HVY Insurgent. As i was trying to find a car, i took out my Marksman, i aimed and shot him thru the side mirror and he died instantly

People always gotta complain, If you can't counter someone using the Marksman Pistol (The likes of me for example) then you should either, Run, Play something else or get good, I am more than content with my new hand cannon, It is one of the few things in GTA:O that doesn't need a nerf.

I realised Marksman Pistol is good for classic pistol duels.

It can OHK you, whether you're at full health and it's a shot to the chest or if you're wearing a bulletproof helmet and it's a headshot.

The reload isn't long at all (2.5 seconds)

Single shot makes it balanced. You can't really complain with all the full auto weapons in the game.

I fired one round at a mission granger just as the 2 guys got out. Went straight through the first guy, straight across the front bench seat out the othe door opening and killed the secong guy too. BANG. I usualy do missions with musket only but this is even more fun.

When used correctly. It'll one KO anyone unless you're over level 100 with the bulletproof helmet and full health. It's only matter of time before everybody ask for a nerf.

in my opinion, the marksman rifle is op in auto aim. Not only does it have incredibly accuracy but the damage it does is deadly. Not to mention the rate of fire compared to the other sniper rifles.

 

but in all honesty I don't think any gun is anymore op than anything else. Everything has been balanced tremendously since Oct 1st 2013 lol. I remember trying to rob a store with a hand gun while my buddy's got an AK... But sh*t done changed I think for the better. That's why I kill players indiscriminately and don't worry about rank or who has what. Cause if I don't I'll be lying on the slab.

So far I like this new gun. I am however torn on something - it's color. Currently have it green but that platinum tint looks good. IMO they also did a good job with how it sounds when firing.
