AngeloC
Hey guys, using an Nvidia 780GTX 4gb card, and prior to this update was enjoying DSR at 3820X2140 with no problems and now, I get a black splash screen and GTA bex64 error. I updated the graphics drivers already, still no go. As soon as I turn off DSR in Nvidia CP the game runs fine. I want DSR back and hope there is a way to get everything back to normal. Anyone else here successfully running DSR with the latest GTA update?
stretchx9
I've played GTAV it this weekend exclusively at 2160p DSR on a single GTX970 at a steady 59.9 fps with most settings on normal. Kinda miss out on a lot of textures but the game play is very smooth and the video is very sharp and frame rate and frame time is consistent. I have not had any new performance issues with the latest two game patches aside from mods not running in story mode and online there's a lot more *uckery going on by the hack'tards. I stick with the 350.12 drivers, the later driver releases do not seem to work well for me. Best advice is make sure you specify clean install when you update nvidia drivers. In the meantime I can live with the bland textures and minimal shadows because smoother gameplay at a constant 60fps is worth the trade off. The only time I experienced a definitive frame rate drop is when I crashed a Panta through a road block and down the stairs into a subway station. Dramatic scenery changes sometimes had this effect, even before Rock* totally screwed the pooch. I'm sure AngeloC just needs to do a clean driver install and reset game settings before forcing 4k dsr.

I uploaded this short video a couple hours ago just to illustrate that I'm not having stutter issues since the IGG 1&2 release. Maybe I'm just lucky. Maybe they fixed the code just before I received it, I don't know.
AngeloC
Got DSR working I thought that it was causing the BEX64 error turns out it is not. I created a new thread with more factual information here. http://gtaforums.com/topic/808383-the-dreaded-bex64-ctd-gta5exe/
Spider-Vice
I see plenty of stuttering in that video, actually... Not severe but it's there. Your settings are also quite low, so there's that. You have sharp eyes lol. I always had occasional hitching in this game but overall, I see no detrimental lag after IGG2. I played around with my MB bios settings last night even pulled it down to default and could not make it noticibly worse. So... perhaps that rules out hardware as being an influential factor. I repeatedly bought ammo at various gun stores in attempt to replicate the immense slowdown being reported but all transactions went quick and smooth. Only in one spot in the game's map do I see an obvious frame rate drop but then again, not everyone rides on the freight train. I don't play online anymore because of all the bullsh*t going on. Maybe the hack'tards are putting bugs into the game's core. Edited July 15, 2015 by stretchx9

The lag is not during the transactions, it's the first time you try to use the store.
