Idea On The Neglected Rhino For Online

Rhino tank is still a far deadlier machine than a Savage or a Buzzard. More armour, more firepower, better accuracy, etc.

if you're in a Rhino and can't take out either of those, how will you take out a Hydra? A much more of an agile target.

It's all about being responsive with the cannon. If you're good, you can take down anything, including Hyrdas and P-996 Lazers.

How does the Rhino have more firepower than a chopper that can shred sh*t with explosive rounds and constant homing rockets simultaneously.

I'll admit, it doesn't if you get close enough. The range on Savage's cannon is horrible. Tank cannon however deals more damage than missiles. It requires two missiles to destroy a Hydra, something a Rhino tank can destroy in one shot.

Why would a Savage pilot bother attempting to get close enough to use the explosive mini-gun?

It can just stay safely out of the Rhino's cannon range, spamming it's zero cooldown time rockets.

Also BRING THE TANK SNIPING! What's the point of owning an Anti-material sniper rifle that can't even penetrate a car?!

 

Anti-Materiel Rifles cannot penetrate a modern Main Battle Tank. As far back as 1943, such Rifles (then called Anti-Tank Rifles) were rapidly becoming obsolete.

Too many complaints online lol. Guys got there tanks out and caused havoc in entire lobbies, unless there were other high ranks, which at that time there wasnt.

Is it me or did ill gotten 2 slightly rebuff tank armor?

 

My friend and i experimented a bit and found it seemed to comsistently take 4 missiles, RPGs or homing rockets to destroy it now.

 

Didnt it only take 2 after the nerf? I only ask because i didnt experiment when i heard about the nerf and wouldnt really know because noone EVER kills me in my tank(even post nerf).

 

As for everyone who says the jets beat the tanks hands down, you havent met the right tank driver. The cocky jet pilots never stop to think that tank on the radar might be luring them into a trap. And you cant come straigyt down om me if i am under cover.

 

After i shoot them down i ALWAYS send the same message

 

"I eat F-16s for breakfast"

Well when pitting a cocky not so skilled Hydra pilot against a skilled Rhino tank driver, then sure there's a chance.

But of course that's obviously when favoring the Rhino user heavily such as in your description.

 

On at least somewhat equal ground (player skill wise at least) the Rhino has little to no options when dealing with Hydras offensively.

& hiding wise in the Rhino....considering the barrel is solid in this game, there are few hiding spots where in a tank you'd get the first shot.

Yes, because you will keep yourself under a rock for an hour just because a jet is nearby or just airborne. You're unlikely to get killed, sure, but you won't be getting anything either unless the jet pilot is grade S stupidly impatient or some stupid ground peasants decide to approach you while totally unprepared for AT combat.

 

Either you will eventually come out, or you will be caught with your pants down before you can find cover, and then you'll be completely hopeless because this will happen 100% of the time unless the pilot is really stupid.

Oh and by the way, I fly the much clumsier Harrier (Hydra) and I still find tanks to be nothing but jet food.

Well jeez if your throwing passive mode into it, a Hydra player can hover around & do the same against you.
