b0ssVenom
As you may know, cars in older R* games, such as GTA III and VC have a feature, which you won't see anywhere in GTA SA. I'm talking about fenders, which can be used for various purposes. I decided to do a small test with this feature in SA and I figured out they still work. It's such a shame R* didn't use them this time. But anyway, here's my result: I managed to get them working in a way, which they can serve 2 purposes: 1. extra 2 useful objects, which can get damaged 2. ability to create chassis deformation on hit So far I only have one issue. For an unknown reason, reflections on the body material don't work at all. I tried various material settings, but none seems to work. For people who may have interest for help, here's a picture of the settings: http://i.imgur.com/6opGsHv.jpg Next up I will try to solve this issue and I will texturize visual scratches and other damage. -Beta Release- http://www.mediafire.com/download/hhi77hqs7c8r6pp/Buffalo.zip -Final Release- http://www.mediafire.com/download/19sa8qc2cbe1ce2/Buffalo_FINAL.zip Edited July 15, 2015 by Bone34 ClaudX, Silent, FMMZ and 8 others
XanaBax
So as I see you used xvehicleenv128 as reflection texture. It requires 2nd UV channel to work correctly.Make it either with UV editor (Unwrap UVW and other modifiers) or with any other way (you can find another way in link below). There may be also some problems with exporting it with Kam's scripts so I recommend you reading this topic. The 3rd post of the topic will help you to export 2nd UV Map correctly. Hope this helps

b0ssVenom
Beta released. Great job! I hope you do some more of this type of vehicles if you have enough time! This is mostly just a test, it's very unlikely. Edited July 13, 2015 by Bone34

Silent
Interesting. I knew SA supports front wings (or whatever these are called, I don't recall) but never knew rear ones work too, cause I never seen anyone utilize them. Nice job!

Actually I only used front wings, so it's nothing extraordinary at all. Although I could try and see if rear wings will work too. Sure, it looks like my mod uses rear wings too, but it works in a simplier way than that to get a similiar result.

Original firetrucks use them, at least in GTA VC GTA V cars to San Andreas gallery (Constantly updating)

Original firetrucks use them, at least in GTA VC There is a mod, called Myriad Island. It have some modified cars, and one of them is some kind of VW New Bettle which have a deformable rear wheel arena and it works very well. //edit: Im talking about this car http://homepage.ntlworld.com/ch.white/vwbug/newbug/game1.jpg Edited July 22, 2015 by Masny
ALMOST610
Some vehicles do use the rear wings for special purposes in Vice City (Like the Pheonix Bonnet Scoop, BF Injection Flywheel, etc), but mostly in III and VC it is used for extra body parts on some vehicles like the Coach and Firetruck (For the extra storage doors), Trashmaster (For the stands on the back for people), I think the GTA 3 Ambulance used it for the rear side door, You just have to remember to assign the Collision Flag to the correct spheres for the damage model to work on it. I've tried to find uses on it for some vehicles, but most of them are not released, I would have liked to make a Damageable T-Top Pheonix in Vice City, but as I said the wing_lr is used for the bonnet scoop. Its kinda like wheel_lm & wheel_rm, forgotten but not lost, I wonder if someone could make a script hack (cough, cough, Silent???, cough) that would allow us to make extra panels defined on vehicles, kinda like, BodyA_Ok, BodyA_Dam. so we could add more damage sections to car likes this... but be different to the doors and wing panels so that it does not fall off the vehicle like the wings and doors do. Or Rear_Windscreen....
