lokelyokel
Can anyone try this possible fix I came across ? Can't test it right now Add -FrameQueueLimit 0 or -FrameQueueLimit 1 to commandline.txt (placed in GTA V root directory) Turn on Vsync. I tried this, and it sort of worked with -FrameQueueLimit 0. Most lag when in a big fight with cops, or in big grass lands are gone. Minigun lag is still very persistent. I also have to keep all my settings on High (No Very High/Ultra/Advanced Graphics) in order for it to work.
spinka
Hi, 4770k, SLI [email protected] +500h GTA5 on PC That last patch/update is a joke. Random frame drops, random stuttering at high speeds, [email protected], [email protected] On that hotfix 353.49 it looks slightly better when I'm fast driving highways without hitting other cars - it sit then on 60fps. But it is pointless. It is a week now and I tried every known to me tweak including: - disabling swapfile; - forcing cpu to run all cores/threads without throttling (ParkControl); - setting realtime priority to gta5.exe - forcing gta5.exe to not use most loaded core/thread "0"; - disabling nv services (nvstream, etc); - f***ing around with: nv control panel, sli on/off and of course R* support named Barbara; Once I've tried to get the "cinematic experience" forcing vsync to 30fps and I've even used to it, because constant stutter is better than random stutter, but the game at current state decided to drop to 20fps randomly... It's ridiculous. -FrameQueueLimit 0 makes things worse for me (probably SLI thing). I see only one solution: rollback to last working version of gta5. I don't have backup and I'm realy waiting that someone write how-to for steam version and upload needed files without trilion viruses in it. Regards! Nick930930
lol why did you waste your time messing with all that stuff? It's obviously entirely Rockstar's fault. We're stuck waiting. Trying to change your CPU settings is needless. XenoxX

And now every day of waiting for a patch makes me thinking that it will get worse again.
Cyanogen
I'd like to thank OP for the hotfix driver which fixed the only noticeable thing about this last update. All issues others mention about FPS dropping in random areas is not there for me except the drop when you enter ammunation to use the armor. This hotfix driver entirely eliminated this issue. Thank you. 8.1 64 bit i7-4710HQ 8 GB DDR3L GeForce 840M 2GB (ASUS N56JN)
