However, a lot of fans don't want him to because of what happened to Johnny K -- he was #rekt by Trevor with no difficulty whatsoever not even ten minutes after his first appearance in the game. Granted this isn't entirely the basis of critics' arguments, I have seen the idea that Trevor, psychopathic and manic as he may be, is somehow capable of defeating Niko and that the same fate of Johnny would await Niko should he return in V. Does anyone have a convincing argument as to how Trevor would even remotely stand a chance against Niko? Me personally? But since this is posted in the GTA V section, I won't be surprised to see GTA V fanboys being the majority. This is still a GTA IV thread vs GTA V thread in disguise. Well, considering the fact that this is in the GTA V section, and how right now it's just GTA IV fanboys, GTA V fanboys are gonna come in and say on how Trevor would beat Niko, and why GTA IV fanboys are even here in the first place. Overall, it's gonna turn into a whole argument again. But yet again, when isn't there a thread that actually has no arguments about opinions? When you give your opinion, whether it's on YouTube, the GTA Forums, or somewhere else on the internet, people are gonna give you sh*t no matter what. Now, to talk about the thread, I think Niko would win in a fight against Trevor anytime and anywhere. You may be right about the argument thing. The way people should see it as straight up common sense that Niko would beat Trevor. Alright I'll just end the conversation right now with a martial arts perspective as to why Niko would win and the reason people believe Trevor would win. People believe that Trevor would win due to his "Rage Mode" - given power and tolerance to pain. And to counter that claim: Trevor is like a tank, very very durable. His shots are lethal blows and/ or even knockouts but he is slow to reload. Niko and Luis are like adder's with 100% armour and with a minigun on top. They have great conditioning, they are very agile, very fast. They punch fast however, their shots may take longer to take down a tank. But they can maneuver all over it without getting hit and as a result the tank goes down with a lot of bullet holes. Trevor has the potential to beat both Luis and Niko up. He has like Mike Tyson knockout power, but one thing he doesn't have like Mike Tyson is his speed. Trevor is a slow puncher and makes it easy for Niko or Luis to parry/counter Trevor and beat him. Trevor may have the more durability but a tank can go down with enough bullet holes. And as someone described Floyd Mayweather (I absolutely hate this fighter), "You can't beat him if you can't hit him". Niko and Luis are agile, skillful and fast and also have great conditioning. Eeeh, I wouldn't be surprised if Trevor became that pussy he spoke of once he sees that Niko's no Johnny K or submissive meth-head like Ron and Wade. That's another thing: Trevor picks on the little guys, and fans think that what they have seen of him while picking on said little guys would apply if he were to tussle with someone like Niko, which more than likely wouldn't be the case. Trevor is a stereotypical redneck in this regard; i.e. a good number of rednecks (as children) start off cool and become assholes once they put on some Southern muscle and grow a build. I'll just halt with this: Trevor's a great GTA character, in my opinion, but I just don't see him beating Niko (especially for the reasons people claim), based on the showings of both.
