And they still haven't solved all the connection problems this game has. They could easily afford actual dedicated servers instead of the Cloud/P2P cr*p by using just 20M of all those money, and instead what have they done? Nothing, R* way.

This F2P game business style is really strong these late years.

 

Rockstar sell 100bucks for in-game 8m. With the price of the IGGs, your real money value have gone even lower. Your biggest cash card can't even handle those Golden Jet.

 

Now just how many players with completionist mindset who thinks "got all the latest stuff = win". I think it's very possible for Rockstar to slurp 100k a day and that makes investors sticking on their ass.

I don't really care for Bethesda's games, nor do I play them, so w/e. I'm not here or there on the whole shark cards thing, so please don't make assumptions. But different companies have different ways of doing things and making money, and shark cards just happen to be Rockstar's way of doing this.

 

Last time I checked, Rockstar seemed to be doing fine with DLC's also, they may not be constant, or full of content sometimes, but at least they're free, and I'm grateful for that. Shark cards are the reason DLC's are free, and that this game isn't pay-to-win, you aren't being forced to buy them, people.

The game isn't pay to win ? Really so I assume then that the Homing Launcher is free, As so is the Hydra and Valkrie and Armoured Kuruma, No its not pay to win at all now is it, It's pretty obvious that it actually is, You wanna stand a chance in a freeroam session then you have to pay for it, The new insurance premiums alone prove this.

Also the drop from $9M to $8M at the end is bigger than the other $1M drops.

it would be a convoluted mess if they used full numbers.......... 10,000,000..... and thats just for one bar.

and the different heights will be 'accurate', ie one maybe $10,900,000 and the next $10,100,000. they just round down the numbers because messy.

these numbers aren't for the accounts dept, they're on a par with what shareholders would be shown to get a general overview.

There is a difference between being a business and milking the community that is playing your game. Poor servers, poor support, and the customer isn't right. Yep sounds about right. I love what people pass off as a "business" these days. I play for the enjoyment, which is less and less. I'm seeing a series that I loved since it launched back I the 90's die.

 

Sure this is a popular game but that doesn't mean its popular because of the quality (kartrashians I'm looking at you) I know I know (insert generic response like you don't have to play the game or some bullsh*t) and yeah I dont have to play the game but I do because I still enjoy it but that doesn't mean I have to agree with how its ran.
