Stealth missions?

Are there any missions like the Series A Bikers heist setup where you can go in and take everyone out without them ever knowing you were there? I've never noticed any that could work but I could be wrong.

As far as missions, I don't believe so. Besides the Series A Bikers heist set up, the Deliver EMP for the Humane Labs Raid setup is a stealth one too.

If you're on the Mansion team on Wetwork you can take out the guy stealthily by taking out the other guards or clearing a path.

Well actually since you can bring sniper anytime, you can snipe any enemies in any contact mission from rooftop or a hill or whatever.

But this game is full of double standard. In several Heist Setups, you can stealth. In other contact mission, you snipe an enemy from somewhere hidden in the middle of the night? His whole gang will know where you are and blind shoot your hidden ass.

That's just how awesome this game is.

Stealth missions? Nope. You can be tactile tactical as f*ck, though. My favorites:

*edit* : tactile is something to do with touch. Not tactical at all. A bit rapey, though.

Death Metal:
Go through nearby canal, go around to back of scrap yard. Climb rooftop. Take cover. Shoot everyone by surprise. Best done with someone else on another roof and ambushing from both sides. Spit-roasting, really.

Flood In The LS River:
When you spawn, look right when looking towards meeting point/objective. Big building. Staircase on side of it near sidewalk. Walk up to roof. Use Heavy Sniper on enemies. They can't shoot that far so they just stand and look at you. I've yet to try to parachute off but it's something that could be awesome if possible.

High Priority Case:
Call helicopter, pick it up at nearby helipad. Land on Maze Bank helipad. Go to ledge on lower level. Sniper rifle + suppressor - get guy who's alone on right side. Then take Heavy Sniper and snipe everyone else. You can then do the following:

-take chopper and land on construction roof

-leave chopper, equip parachute and glide over. If you think you won't make it press the controls for precision landing "mode" to pull your legs up. Equip it before jumping as you lose valuable height if not equip. You WON'T make it if you don't equip it.

Kill all bad guys on lower level. Exit strategies below.

Another alternative is to get a buddy fly the chopper. Go up real high. Jump out and parachute as slowly as possible. Friend in chopper dives down, lands on Maze Bank roof and snipes everyone before you parachute in on rooftop. Take care of enemies on lower floor while friend takes out the chopper that spawns once the package is picked up. He can pick you up afterwards or he can put the chopper back while you parachute to Lester's. Roleplay galore!

Fun ways to get away from the rooftop include:

-planting satchel on chopper (leave no evidence!) and parachuting off building right to Lester's warehouse. Beware that you should equip your parachute BEFORE jumping to get the highest "open chute" point as possible. Also, make sure to jump as far as possible and go forward a bit if needed. If the parachute opens too close to the building you'll lose the chute and just fall to your death. Also watch out for enemies that can shoot at you when you parachute low enough to the ground.

-screw the chopper or parachute, aim a gun at that crane and walk the beam! Drop down and then do the long way down with those ladders. Beware that enemies do spawn. Snatch the vehicle if you want it more realistic instead of calling for your own car.

High Priority Case is probably the most tactical mission there is due to how "roleplay" you can be with it. The Los Santos Connection is good too as all three scenarios/sections are all about ambushing the enemy. Not listing it here in detail to scale of it and not my favorite to go tactical on.

Just play most missions with a sniper mindset. You'll find your own Splinter Cell moments. As for stealth itself? Man, I wish it would work. Suppressors are near useless unless you know who to shoot that won't alert the others. Hope these help and that you enjoy/try them. :)

These sound awesome I'll have to try em out. I'm always sniping whenever useful on missions. One of my favourites is Lost MC RIP. Hit the checkpoint, drive up the ramp on the right of the road and pick them all off. Not as methodical as some of your tactics but still satisfying. Cleaning the cat house is also fun if you use a car to hop up onto one of the huts across the road.

It's a shame stealth is practically non-existent in GTA 5. Having the option to go all Agent 47 style on a mission would definitely add some value to mission grinding.
