GamesBoy316
You mean tracking people and fining out where they are? Yeah, that's completely normal and nothing's wrong with that... Rockstar would never get controversy for that... Edited July 11, 2015 by GamesBoy316
slimeball supreme
Sure, my character would love to kidnap young women and sell them to foreigners as sex slaves. That's totally not f*cked up or anything. Edited July 11, 2015 by Mr. Fahrenheit

fac316
Too dicey in today's climate, even though manhunt makes GTA violence look pg, it wouldn't go over today's ultra sensitive society.
SPECTER II
People do scary things in GTA, but even the major protagonists and antagonists of the game would never do anything related to human trafficking.

slimeball supreme
Niko and Trevor did it so why not ? Controversy creates cash When did Niko and Trevor do it? If I recall, Niko killed human traffickers, he certainly wasn't one. And Trevor just owned a strip club.
gamer_dog
Yeah all that would make GTA start digging into its own roots of crime but if you can't see where it's heading your in for shock, it's lost its gritty grimey feel since number 3 everything moves on in crime ... number V is almost symbol of gta's success it's obvious this shouldn't detract you from its darkness since the violence remains and creates a even more disturbing atmosphere when you let rounds in a busy street in Beverly Hills it's dark enough in its own sense without pimping lol

XenoxX
Would like one if the mechanics are fleshed out. Would certainly break the rules of Social Justice once again and R* would push it one step farther.

The guys completely wrong about Niko but technically Trevor did traffic people off to a cannibalistic cult! If that's what you decided to do of course. But yeah this would never happen.Next the OP will be suggesting peadophillia!

Osho
Nope. I can't see this work as a mini game, but incredibly well as a part of the vigilante task. This will be helpful in bringing needed variety to vigilante missions. It more or less falls under the same subject where the player is required to track down the criminals ( or crimes ) and kill them. In this case, it can work like classic Ghost recon style rescue operation ( of course, without any support and as lone wolf ). Rockstar could add various types of victims ( for ex: prostitution ) the traffickers use to trick into for this business and are then sold out within days ( and will be your time limit to rescue them as well ). Each time new randomized locations like hotels, etc are used to make the dealings. As a vigilante, the player can stealth through and get the job done. Just a rough idea..basically, I'd prefer not as a mini game which will require a lot of efforts to get fully fleshed out, but rather as an additional variety to the already vigilante format as a challenging scenario on higher levels. This won't even create any controversy.

Fuzzknuckles
No. Too f*cked up. Whereas pulling teeth with pliers or waterboarding are sunny happy themes we can all share with the family. I agree though, I don't think this would do Rockstar any favours and would court the wrong sort of controversy. Signatures are dumb anyway. ArmyRaidFail404
Rockstar will be given all sorts of sh*t if they go with this idea. Although, I like this idea. "Human Trafficking Simulator 2015" FTW! Also, this should go in the GTA Concepts Sub-Forum in GTA Series. I ask that a mod perhaps move it?

There's no guarantee a led by will be checking all threads to see the content. If I had led by rights on this board I'd move it, but I'm only able to move stuff in one of the hidden forums. BurnettVice
R* has gotten sh*t from the media because of Manhunt and GTA. So what's wrong with doing human trafficking? They could let the player decide for themselves what are the fates of the people were smuggling/trafficking.
Osho
Human trafficking on its own lacks replay value! It suits as a part of side missions like I detailed above through vigilante. Besides, HD Universe fans often throw the word "in context" to protagonists personality and story presentation which the players should follow no matter what one desires to see. For instance: Frankling and gang, wars are a huge NO, then how will you picture human trafficking in relation to the story and characters personality? ShadowCola
Well tbf nobody batted an eye of the fact that in this game you can feed hitch-hikers to naked cannibalistic baby boomers. I don't see how this is any different. BurnettVice
