No... I want the game to get fixed before any more stupid war vehicles come out. The hackers are a bigger widespread disease than the zombie outbreak in "The Walking Dead." And now we have to deal with the new framerate/stutter issue introduced in Ill gotten Gains Part 2?

 

Yeah.. no thanks.. screw getting MORE war vehicles... fix the game, and then give us some simple things for once. I mean god damn.. there's still only 3 baseball caps and they're either purple, green, or flat-billed with gangsta text on it.

What platform are you on? I heard the hacker problem is pretty bad in the pc and last gen versions of the game but Xbox One and PS4 are relatively hacker/modder free

if we get a tank, I'd prefer a modern one, preferably one where you can have a friend on the machine gun. Either that or an APC, as long as the driver can use the weapon as well.

I'd like something like a CV90 Armadillo (which is one of the fastest and best handling "tanks" in the world). Although it's not technically a tank because it doesnt have a turret on top, maybe we could get something similar, but with the turret.

Speaking of which, an alternative way to buff the Rhino as opposed to de-nerfing the armor is to both:

- Let the driver use the clearly-visible coaxial MG mounted next to the main gun

- Let another player use the commander's HMG

 

Giving the tank better point defense isn't going to make it overpowered as it would still be jet food and can't stand many explosives from other ground players, but it would feel less helpless.

 

Optionally, nerf the main gun reload along with these changes.

You can go on a cop rampage in GTAV. In my opinion Tanks never belonged in GTAO. At least now they're not so dominant over everything else in the game, so they're not so bad. But honestly, there's no real reason to drive one in GTAO other than griefing.

 

At least, I was always of the belief that the only way to obtain a tank should be to steal it from FZ. This is why the Lazer is just about acceptable -- if that thing was buyable then it would just be ridiculous.

Personally, I'd be most interested in the M1 Carbine rifle (with iron sights) and a few vintage fighter planes.

 

I'm firmly in the "GTAO should begin steering away from militarized game-play" camp. I'd much rather see drug dealing and other criminal enterprises. More emphasis on crime, less on war.

Rstar.. If I want to play a war game I play battlefield. If I wan to play a 'crime' game I play GTAO.. or at least I did until I realised the game was full of idiots that dont even know there's much better games if you want to get your war on.

 

Seeing tanks on the streets of LS = immersion breaker. So I don't play anymore, even if they add no more military hardware, imo the game is already ruined beyond recognition.

 

Such a pity, this should have been the greatest game yet.
