Thoughts on a new tank DLC?

Now, I know getting in a tank is bitch move when you're fighting someone. But sometimes we'll all play with it every now and then going on a rampage killing cops as long as we can. So a tank can be very fun in those regards. So I was thinking of a new tank DLC. I have already talked about this with many players and all of them seemed up for it. And once I showed them the picture of a T-34-85 tank rusted up in a junk yard in Los Santos (Can be seen below.) They believed it was gonna happen!

 

A WWII themed military DLC would be really something. If I was to make this DLC. I would add 4 new guns. These would be based off German and American guns. I was thinking an STG-44 Assault Rifle. And an MP40 SMG. For the American themed weapons an M1 Carbine assault rifle. And an M3 Grease Gun SMG. (I would say the Thomson SMG. But there is already a gun too similar to it.)

 

New outfits would obviously include German and American Officer/General uniforms. As well as Riflemen and Grenadiers.

 

Two new tanks. One being based on an M4 Sherman, And another based off the Panzerkampfwagen IV.

 

 

 

Two new Aircraft. One being based off a P-51 Mustang. And Another off a Bf-109.Both of these planes will have cannons. Not quite the same as the Hydra or Lazer. But I was thinking machine guns similar to the one on the back of the Rebel Technical.

 

 

And last but not least. A couple of new cars. A German Kublerwagen. And an American Willies Jeep!

 

 

Of course we don't want to have a 1-2 Gigabyte update. And neither does Rockstar. So a total of 6 vehicles. 4 guns. and However many clothing Items. Does this seem like it would make a satisfying DLC?

I love using my Tank for missions to save on ammo, so I'm all for it. But it would need to be faster and allow a second passanger to control the gunner. I would gladly pay $1-2.5 million for it.

 

 

 

As for the guns, I would be estatic for an MP40!

No... I want the game to get fixed before any more stupid war vehicles come out. The hackers are a bigger widespread disease than the zombie outbreak in "The Walking Dead." And now we have to deal with the new framerate/stutter issue introduced in Ill gotten Gains Part 2?

 

Yeah.. no thanks.. screw getting MORE war vehicles... fix the game, and then give us some simple things for once. I mean god damn.. there's still only 3 baseball caps and they're either purple, green, or flat-billed with gangsta text on it.

While it's a neat idea, I doubt it would happen...BUT. the Rustler was a sand Andreas plane. P-51 WITH working machine guns.

 

I'd also love a WWII tank. I'd throw a Confederate flag on it and a Dixie horn if possible and call it the Beauregard.

As much as I'd welcome the return of the Rustler from San Andreas (the P-51 Mustang) I don't think we should get any more military vehicles.

I'd rather have the APC back, which would be at least useful for missions due to its superior speed. The current, modern MBT called the Rhino is already nerfed into garbage, you can't balance a WW2 tank around it.

Typical GTAO public sessions tend to be a WW3 scene, so why not? Might as well turn grieving sessions into an all-out warzone of OP vehicles.

We get classical cars and old times guns constantly (tommy gun, antique pistol, musket), as well we get lots of old time clothing and some of even has the Roosevelt car.

 

So your argument of old time machines not fitting modern Los Santos doesn't really hold much water.

Really? I see plenty of them. And every single one I pop with extreme ease from my Hydra unless I know the guy operating it, in which case I'd resist the temptation to bust it anyway.

I know we're all GTA fans, but every one of those games would be better at replicating real-world weapons and combat scenarios than any Freeroam battle on Online could.

 

I'd be fine with more Military content if R* offered 'Friendly', 'Free-roam (as it currently stands)', and 'Warzone' lobbies, so players can 'opt in' to combat involving military-grade hardware.
