iateyourmom Posted July 11, 2015 Share Posted July 11, 2015 And i mean using ANY mod, the game forces me to redownload original files and when i try to play with the internet disconnected it gives me a corrupted data error, all i wanna do is have fun with scripts and texture replacments i dont care about playing online, i see people doing it all the time on gta5mods.com so i know there has to be a way!!! I managed to get a siracha molotov texture in, oddly it didnt make me redownload that, anything else the game just gives me the middle finger, i have modded vice city all the way to gta iv so its alittle discuraging hope someone can lead me in the right direction I have tried scripthook and trainers work but none of the script mods i tried Link to comment Share on other sites More sharing options...

Tabris666 Posted July 12, 2015 Share Posted July 12, 2015 the reason of giving you that error is simple you have the locked version or the after release wich is unmoddable,the preloads have all the data unlocked so you needed this version if you where planning on modding the game unfortunatelly this is not available anymore so dont ask how to unlock the data because there isnt a tool to do this for now. samgta5 Posted July 14, 2015 Share Posted July 14, 2015 youre fine, create a folder called ' mods ' in your directory and copy what ever you want to edit into the mod files, say you want to edit x64e.rpf youd copy that from your directory into the mods folder. then in open iv instead of ediitng x64e uoud edit mods/x64e using the mods folder>> make sense? iateyourmom Posted July 15, 2015 Author Share Posted July 15, 2015 Yeah after the latest patch it just wont work, i used the joker mod and when i try to switch to trevor it still gives me an error even with mods in a seperate folder, i dont get why rockstar cares what i do with my game offline, they say they appreciate the mod community but then go and disable it even for offline use? Scripthook was updated few days ago, go check it out.
