Craigsters
You can adjust a wealth of different First Person Mode aspects in the Settings menu If you're playing a Race or a Parachute Jump with the First Person perspective in GTA Online, try pressing Circle (PS4) / B (Xbox One) to get a Third Person peek - very handy when dealing with a multi-car pile up or when attempting to locate a Checkpoint that may be off screen. Don't rely on this when driving in Freemode though, as it will switch you to Cinematic Camera. Whichever perspective you choose, there are now four targeting options available in each one: Assisted Aim – Full: Lock-on targeting with a wide lock angle that allows for target switching (Sticky Aim in First Person only). Assisted Aim – Partial: Lock-on targeting with a medium lock angle. The reticule slows down whenever it passes over a target (Sticky Aim in First Person only). Free Aim – Assisted: Snap-lock targeting with a narrower lock-on angle (Sticky Aim in First Person only). Free Aim: For the hardcore, no lock-on whatsoever. originally from R* http://www.rockstargames.com/newswire/article/52353/rockstar-game-tips-playing-with-perspective-in-gtav Edited July 11, 2015 by Craigsters "You don't understand! Craigsters
I was letting you know your able to change your aiming type and maybe it's the aim choice that is causing your aim issue "You don't understand! S1N0D3UTSCHT3K
were you in FPS by chance? you know how often in FPS games, when you hold the gun and shoot, you're holding it at an unnatural angle so that you can see the gun? i think that could be what is at play here.... when you're in FPS, it will look fine but if you break into a mod/edit mode, you can see that you are still shooting straight but the gun is being held at the weird angle... maybe.... i'm a bit confused because you're title and comment seem to describe two different things? i don't understand the "cover" part
