Orlansky
Other than the train, blimp or aircraft. Those apparently last forever. And I like the train and blimp rides but I'm talking about the others for now. And I'm not including mods like the AutoDrive mod which has lots of endless rides with you watching yourself drive. That's fun but I mean just the vanilla game with only the command line cheats that come with the game. So this is mainly for jumping on a vehicle for a ride. As long as it keeps driving on its own as long as it can. I can't get a boat to self drive with me on it yet btw. NPCs on a boat all scatter when I hop on the boat. Also I'm assuming rides as a passenger like the Taxi ride don't last nearly as long as ones where you hop on a vehicle. And this is for SP, I haven't gone Online yet. This is boring to some, I mean how many people would spend an hour or more testing this out like in the next paragraph. But I figure some may enjoy this sort of thing. So far the longest lasting is the pickup truck towing a speed boat on a trailer. With me standing in the boat. It kept going for about an hour without crashing or getting stuck. And it may have kept going but I quit to do something else. Reasons for it lasting as long as it did could be the boat on the trailer is low enough so that you don't get knocked off by low tree branches, low signs or low tunnel openings. And since there are side walls of the boat around you, you can't slide off if the trailer goes over some curbs or rough roads. It doesn't seem to wander off and get stuck on some fence or something. And maybe the most important thing, for some reason other vehicles tend not to mess with the trailer or the pickup towing it.
