People Leaving in Heist Setups & Finales

Honestly, I think I've had enough and my fair share of playing heists with randoms.

Every single heist and finale I've joined today has resulted in the lobby being full, people quitting, or having to restart a ridiculous amount of times.

I think heists are officially only playable with trusted friends/crew mates if you want productivity for your time. Yes, you can complete heists with randoms, but I always end up spending more than enough time then what I'm actually receiving from the heist due to the lack of, I don't know, player skill.

Anyways, it would be nice if I could form a team with experienced players here possibly. It's just getting old.

Its not just the fault of the randoms. I do play with friends and we have still have issues all the time.

I agree you can be more productive with friends and have less issues but they are still present.

productivity for your time.

probably stop playing games then.

You'd be surprised how productive I am with heists with a good crew, so no thanks.

Has nothing to do with randoms. Me and my friend were doing Heists he had 2 other buddies that joined us and we failed over 15 times (Pacific Standard) when I was doing my own Heist I had 3 randoms and everything went as planned. Sometimes randoms are the best way to go.

Sorry, if on PS4 I may of left a few lobbies because of the misleading heist titles, thought it was a finale but was a setup. Although I agree, may not be all randoms, but there's always one who messes everything up.

Randoms get a bad rap, why is it the leader never takes responsibility for failure? Oh wait criminals never admit guilt.

I have been trying to finish Prison Break heist for the past 3 days now, no luck. Always someone who crashes the plane, or leaves, or something goes wrong. Its kinda fascinating in a way.

I hear you. Besides Fleeca, most of the time completing heists with randoms feels like trying to walk through a cement wall.

For finding heist players the "Find a Lobby and meetup" section is dead now compared to the first 2 months after heists were released. You'll have better luck here: https://lfh.cxkes.me

If I need a player or two I post there and usually get several responses within a few minutes.

If you're on xbox one add me: FlexPiTo

When I'm online I'm pretty much always doing heists with friends or ppl from that site I posted above. Good luck 😊

Exactly, not everyone has great internet, so add that to their server and you've got disconnects.

While we are on the topic of heists and sh*tty players, I have been thinking of a conditional payout system.

Say you start the heist giving everyone 20%, yourself 40% (because setup missions and setup costs, assuming these guys did nothing).

However if someone fails the heist (dies or fails a mission objective), then his cut goes down x amount (say 2%) and is split amongst the rest of the members. Such a system would be optional.

Another idea, a kitty system. If you join in a heist, you gotta be prepared to stick it through to the end. So you donate x amount (say $2000, a bond) and you get it back once the heist is complete. If you leave, its gone.

If you have a bad internet connection, then this truly sucks, and honestly maybe you shouldn't play heists as you are magnifying your problem onto other people.

I play nothing but heists right now, usually with randoms. Do I come across dumbasses? Sure. But I complete multiple heists every time I play. It's how I make so much money so easily. I don't see how so many people can claim that they're unable to finish a heist. I honestly think some here don't want to admit that they themselves are the problem..

Meh, I've done the heists with randoms, sometimes it works out, sometimes I get a good laugh out of it...And I won't lie, I've been killed a couple times in heists....

I don't have much choice but to do with randoms, my online friends stopped playing this game a loooong time ago...

Well, I haven't been a problem all day. Other people just don't bother even with the Fleeca Scope Out setup. I had 6 people quit that in a row after launching into the world. Just leave in the lobby so my time isn't wasted.

I thought it had something to do with IGG2 because I will join jobs and heists on-call but, a lot of the time I join it says I was kicked or the host left. This has happened a lot since the update.

Neat idea, but it probably won't stop people from quitting heists at the cost of 2k which is chump change. I'd increase it to at least 5 digits and have it so the amount increases as the heist rewards increase. So for Pac Standard, the bond would be at 50k.

The 2k is just a placeholder, fill the x with whatever you want. I personally think 50k is a bit harsh seeing how easy it is to get disconnected.

Any amount is harsh with how easy it is to get disconnected. There is absolutely no situation where you should lose money because your internet sh*t itself or anything like that.

Right but like I was saying in my original post, if it is so easy for you to get disconnected then you really are upsetting the game for everyone else. You shouldn't be playing heists until you get your net sorted out. 2k punishment for that.

No. It's stupid. I shouldn't lose anything because my net sh*t its pants. Sometimes sh*t happens. We shouldn't be punished for that.

Ok look at it this way... if people quit out far more than you occasionally disconnect, you will make a profit from the 2k they give up in the long run.

Yeah, I suppose you're right. I wish there was a way to tell if someone disconnected because of their internet or if they left themselves.
