Darts too..

 

it's only f*cking Rally and Tennis that require another player. Apart from kills etc..

Both of them need a partition to be improved, or removed from Daily Objectives.

Odd. I never have a hard time finding ppl to play tennis...

 

Instead of hosting ur own, why not join someone who has one hosted and probably has the same objective as you?

 

If u despite tennis remember only 1 person has to win 6 times. I usually just let them win to end it faster.

 

I just can't believe one set is equal to 6 games. That is the most ridiculous for me, but I don't play tennis so I don't know if that's one of the normal rules

I play tennis with one of my friends, we both make a laugh out of it by dressing our characters in white sports shorts, polos and sport shoes

I never had a reason to purposely do any of the daily objectives, until we got the tshirt this weekend. I don't play tennis/darts/gold/arm wrestle, I just drive/fly and blow sh*t up

Also do not be an asshole and ask to trade objectives.

I play tennis, golf, and darts everyday on xbox one without problems (people quit but at least they try). Arm wrestling is the only daily I have never done.

Arm wrestling is the only one I refuse to play, it increases the sales of new controllers.

Another problem is that the shortest match takes too long!!

Yeah, I don't mind tennis and golf every now and again but I agree with you about tennis, 1 set is 6 games. If the other players having difficult connection problems they don't serve and sometimes I am also abandoned in the game. Another problem, I keep hitting the f*cking "quit" button and pushing X quick to base swing and it quits the game of tennis which annoys me. They should let you pick sets and games just like they do in story mode and golf online. I had the daily challenge to play a round of golf and automatically put in another player who was the host and they did the full 9 holes but quit after the 2nd hole because they couldn't swing and I was waiting FOREVER!!!!!

Finding Tennis matches isn't as difficult as keeping people playing for a full set (needed to get the Daily Objective).

 

Most players don't seem to understand there's a difference between 'game' and 'set' - too many people quit early for it to count.

Tennis is such lagfest mode.

 

Ace? You lost the point

Ball not returned? Comes at you 100mph darting side to side, impossible to return.

Ball not returned? You hit it out.

Ball returned? Airswings

 

Credit to anyone that has the 5-set award, even with a friend that could sit through such a laggy and bad mechanic mode for Online. Single player tennis is much better.

Pretty much. A lot randoms leave the game after they see how long it takes to finish a game. For me, tennis is probably my least favorite daily objective, but it's not as hard to complete as 1v1 death match or impromptu race.

Gta online since 2013 and yesterday i had my worst experience ever. That was playing tennis to complete the dailey objective needed to get a special t shirt. I kept trying to lose and when i thought it was over we just changed sides. It was a nightmare!

 

Well the game did end, i got the t shirt, and my blood pressure returned to normal.

 

Golf was an easy objective as it was a qwick one hole solo.

I have a good group of friends, majority of which all do their daily objectives. And I would have to agree, tennis is the worst daily of them all. Its just too damn long and time consuming.

 

We have tried quitting before to see if it counted for the player who needed the daily and that didn't work. Can someone confirm that quitting after the first game really works ? My buddy was telling me it doesn't work, he has had randoms quit on him half way through and said it didn't count and that's why he asked me to help complete the daily. I have no problem helping my friends, I just wish to get this over as quickly as possible.

 

As for the game itself ? I think R* did a good job with the games ( darts, golf & tennis ) it just seems to not be everyone's cup of tea. I personally enjoy getting golf as my daily and prefer to play the full 9 holes as opposed to just one. The good part of that activity, you can play by yourself.

 

I would just love to find a walk around to this tennis thing instead of cringing whenever this event pops up on my objectives.

I can find people easily. The problem is that Online tennis is broken. My friend and I played the most painful (and hilarious) match of tennis yesterday.

 

Our characters convulsed and kicked the air spastically whenever the ball approached them, stopped dead in their tracks at the target circle, and missed constantly.

 

It might've been because our rackets looked like this:

lol, just to let you guys know my method totally worked.

 

I spent all that time and couldn't find another player. I came here, made this stupid topic and within minutes I found a nice player that helped me get the shirt. I don't know why but making an ass out of myself seems to solve the problem. its like the universe likes to prove me wrong. and yes i should have used the bitch and moan section but according to the search function there were no results for that topic. sometimes its there and sometimes its not.

 

miamondides- I noticed the same thing. the game wonked out a couple of times while I was playing. I didn't care about winning so it didn't bother me.

mach1bud- i waited long enough to do something i have zero interest in ever playing. if it wasn't a requirement forced on me i would never play it.

Finding ppl to play with isn't hard. It's having them stay through the whole set that's the problem. Since nobody knows how to play the game it seems, I'm always up 4--0 before they quit out. It's sad too cause my Social Club record would be a lot better than what it shows. At least the Daily Objective still counts even if they quit though.

I actually like Tennis in the game. Sure it annoyed me to hell getting them 3 days in a row but it was fun beating randoms left to right. I also enjoy Tennis in real life too.
