I Loved it Alot, but it kind of got boring when Niko gets involved with Boccino and Pegorino IMO.

Yeah, loved it. It was (and still is) among the best storylines in any game of the last 10 or so years.

Like PulpFiction has said, the decisions you make in-game can really weigh down on your own conscience if you mess it up, much like it would do for Niko himself...

Yeah, I actually felt bad some times.

Other times I questioned if it was the right choice.

And then those other times where I knew I'd made the right decision.

Yeah, I actually felt bad some times.

Other times I questioned if it was the right choice.

And then those other times where I knew I'd made the right decision.

Even after all this time and how many times I've played through GTA IV's story I still get a sense of guilt making a decision that's the wrong one despite that I've done every single choice possible.

It still has a strong affect IMO.

Like, I'm thinking:

"Clarence sells drugs to kids and is a very bad man, but he's still really young. He can change. Should I?" And stuff.

The final choice really got me thinking.

But he turned out to be a disrespectful little asshole to Niko.

Also, I do agree that in-game choices can not only affect Niko, but also can affect us ourselves, that's why I sometimes regret some of my decisions and not only can affect myself, but through Niko's journey finding the American dream as well. That's why I find IV such as fantastic and brilliant game.

I would have preferred it to be less "distracted", meaning, Niko's core story was good but all of the side stories just got on the way of what I REALLY wanted to experience.

Wow even after you've played it like 4+ times?

Didn't know the story could have such an after- effect and replayability. I seriously have to replay IV now.

You really should replay IV again. I have done like six play throughs, and it still always makes me smile a lot even after seven years.

You really should.

It's got a lot of replayability.

Is that Simon Cowell as your avatar? LMAO. Edited by The_Ghost

Yeah honestly it does. I guess it's because I feel the characters in general connect so well with Niko.

Another thing I love about IV's story is how much you get immersed into Niko's character, it makes you feel like you're witnessing everything unfold through Niko's eyes instead of your own. You never get that same feeling of immersion with V's story.

There's a couple of reasons why that would be the case, in my opinion.

1. Due to the shorter Story, there isn't much room for Character Development.

2. The Switching Mechanism yanks you away from the Characters, in the process ruining the Immersion.
