If I join a crew and use their crew color on a car, will it change if I join a different crew? Like would it become the new crew's color upon me joining?

 

And what is the easiest way to move up in rank through a crew? Rockstar has it set so you can't use a secondary color on a car from a crew until you're rank 10 in said crew.

The color will change if you go to the crew color option in the LSC. Do missions, races, etc to level up in crews.

If you change crews, or your crew changes color, your cars will retain the old crew color unless you try to apply the new crew color to it (even if you apply it to a different part of the car, primary/secondary). Even hovering over the "Crew Color" option can kick it into display the new crew color permanently.

I still have cars that are sporting the colors of three different crews.

 

Whatever crew is active will have their logo on clothes/cars. This will change whenever you swap crews.

 

You move up in crew rank with the same earned-RP as you do with your own rank. Just do any high-RP jobs.

There is a glitch that you can only improve your crew rank if it is the first or second (maybe third?) crew in your list of five.

Yeah. You can customize it and everything, just don't choose the crew color option in respray.

I know you didn't ask this but in case you didn't know and you're wondering in the future: If you put a crew emblem on a vehicle, it DOES change when you change crew and it will always show the crew emblem for your active crew.
