Supahotboi
I used to have GTA IV and GTA V, but my parents took it away and sold them after they looked at the reviews and researched a lot about it. Still no luck after trying over and over to ask if i can buy them again. Any advice to try and get it back? Thanks!
GamesBoy316
It depends on how old you are. If you're younger than 13, I'm surprised they even let you have it in the first place. If you really want those games again, do good in school, do chores, be friendly, all that stuff. Basically, don't be a dick and do well at school. I don't know if it would work though. Let me tell you this though, I didn't want to answer, but I decided to anyway, and other members will give you sh*t, and I won't blame them. I would give sh*t, but I don't feel like it. OT:You are too young, some themes presented in this game is quite mature and a kid your age might not be able to handle it.Try it in the future maybe when you are 14-17 years old,you will understand it more, but now you won't understand jacksihit except for splosins, language, and killing. EDIT: 15?Thats means your immature,do good in school and man up. Edited July 10, 2015 by VikDarkbomb
Progeekzy
You basically have 3 choices. Do your own research to show them in some way why you SHOULD have this game, make the money to buy the game for yourself and hide it from them, or move out and buy it for yourself. If you are under there roof, you live by there rules. CanOdope and FrikkenZz

Slam_Jones
My parents would tell me if I wanted a game, I'd have to write a few paragraphs as to why I need that game. Even then they wouldn't always get it for me (I really wanted Postal 2 when it first came out... prolly better that I didn't...), but I think what they wanted to see was effort. Big_Smiley
It's been a terrible series for parents and thier kids. Ever since gta 3 back in 2001 parents have been on a look out. But with gta 5 it's even tripple the volience. when some parents say oh it looks so real i can't have my child playing this and grow up to be criminals. Like it's just a game as long as you already know that. You do know it saids M+17 right so if you were yonger than 13 (like other said) well then you'd have to go by your parents rules. I remeber my parents were always cool with me palying those type of games back in the Ps2 era. So sorry about this man. Parents will be parents. GamesBoy316
At least your parents are actually looking out for what games you should play and what you shouldn't. Parents these days let kids play whatever they want and whatever shows they want to watch so they don't have to look after them. Games like GTA and Call of Duty are good examples. But since you're already older than 13, they shouldn't worry too much. Edited July 10, 2015 by GamesBoy316

I never played the classic gta's on xbox. I only played them on ps2. Reason why? well i had the same games at that time so i didn't buy when the xbox came out. The only difference on xbox was that some Gta's had better draw distances and shadow effects with a higer resolution. You are talking about the Original xbox rigth? If not well...sh*t i just typed this for nothing. Lol Edited July 10, 2015 by GTA_The_Series

Shadowfennekin
Honestly 15 is old enough compared to some ages kids play these games. I used to encounter kids ALL the time on IV's multiplayer before modders ruined it. It's pretty ridiculous when a 10 year old is playing.

Lethal Vaccine
Topic should be moved into a general discussion section of the Forum. Even if you wish you owned IV and V, I still don't see how this fits into a IV or V Section of a Forum...
