PC - Free Elegy RH8

Just a heads-up in case no one's caught this yet... noticed that the Elegy RH8 is now listed as free on Legendary Motorsports, for the PC platform.

It's under the bug fixes updates, the free Chrome RIM and also 5k for rebreather also getting patched for PC in the recent patch.

Personally, I signed up for social club, linked the account, yadda yadda when the game first came out for PC (a few months ago IIRC), and only now is the RH8 showing up for free. Haven't done anything different, just suddenly with the IGG p.2 it finally shows up for free. Previously it was $95k.

Yep, the elegy RH8 wasn't free for the PC Version.

At the beginning, the Elegy was free for console players to "force" them to use the social club (because console players are unaccustomed to interact with a "web community" (read, comment, participate, create etc...) and because Rockstar thought to be able to create a community in this manner....).

I think it is also important to note that the CE vehicles for CE owners are now free again as well. On consoles, that is.

Many console players just play their games and stick to their friends and don't interact with communities. It's much more common on pc and has been for a long time with how integrated community has been in games for years. When you have the same account to register your game to and play on as you use for the site, you're more likely to be exposed to the community of that and use it than just playing on your console and that being it...

oh yeah, that old bug, damn I can't belief that actually cropped back up in the PC version though, that's surprising.

Many console players just play their games and stick to their friends and don't interact with communities. It's much more common on pc and has been for a long time with how integrated community has been in games for years. When you have the same account to register your game to and play on as you use for the site, you're more likely to be exposed to the community of that and use it than just playing on your console and that being it...consoles are here to provide a system to play games on conveniently, the internet is here to provide the community.

well it should have been, the Elegy is the actual freebie car for making a social club account, it's supposed to be locked otherwise. I remember the early days, everybody was driving Elegys around, oh the good ol days.
