JORD4NOcz
Hey fellas, just wanted to know how do you complete missions.Do you complete one contact, then move to another, or are you doing it by to which contact are you closest, or any other option? Fell free to add to discussion.
Big_Smiley
Na. It's not necessary to do missions in order. You just do them by any order. Or if you want you could just do them one by one. Like let's say you do a mission then you do another. Mmmmmm. S*ht i'm not making any sence here am i? f*ck...But like you said you could just do them if your close to one. Just wanted to help. Sorry if i sound like crap. I just woke up. Baltimoreian

Th3MaN1
If you do them in the wrong order, you're going to block access to some of them late in the game. Here's a list: "Pump-Action Pimp" (Luigi Goterelli) - must be completed before "Last Requests" (Salvatore Leone) "The Fuzz Ball" (Luigi Goterelli) - must be completed before "Last Requests" (Salvatore Leone) "Dead Skunk In The Trunk" (Joey Leone) - must be completed before "Last Requests" (Salvatore Leone) "The Getaway" (Joey Leone) - must be completed before "Last Requests" (Salvatore Leone) "Kanbu Bust-out" (Kenji Kasen) - must be completed before "Waka-Gashira Wipeout!" (Donald Love) "Grand Theft Auto" (Kenji Kasen) - must be completed before "Waka-Gashira Wipeout!" (Donald Love) "Deal Steal" (Kenji Kasen) - must be completed before "Waka-Gashira Wipeout!" (Donald Love) "Shima" (Kenji Kasen) - must be completed before "Waka-Gashira Wipeout!" (Donald Love) "Smack Down" (Kenji Kasen) - must be completed before "Waka-Gashira Wipeout!" (Donald Love) "Two-Faced Tanner" (Asuka Kasen) - must be completed before "Grand Theft Aero" (Donald Love) GreenOnions

Lethal Vaccine
I go from Boss to Boss. When a Special Vehicle comes up which requires some Garage Space to fit it all, I then skip some Missions like Kenji's "Grand Theft Auto" so I can do "Evidence Dash" first to obtain the BP/EP/FP Bobcat and convert it to DP. Once the Vehicles are all safe and in my Garages, I then go back in order from Boss to Boss until it's done, clearly keeping in mind the Missions which get locked off for good. GreenOnions
Beyond just the basic guidelines of completing all of the Luigi/Joey/Toni missions before starting Salvatore's and doing all of Kenji's missions before meeting with Donald Love, (just for the sake of being able to get 100% completion) I don't think I had any special order in mind. Honestly, I kind of liked the vibe of juggling multiple "clients" throughout the city at any given time. It fit into that whole tense, ominous, yet exciting atmosphere of Claude's time in Liberty. I am doing it like I go see each available contact per day. Let's say I got available Asuka, Kenji and Ray, I go see Asuka, then Kenji and Ray just once a day so when I complete a mission for all three contacts I go home. thehambone
Quite possibly, but it also makes sense on the other hand. That's a valid point considering the fact that there are no 100% completion rewards. Rockstar might not have considered the notion of players wanting to achieve 100% completion at that time. Intergold
Just the standard way - moving to another contact after finishing the current contact's missions(e.g. doing two more missions of Luigi before moving to Joey, after finishing "Drive Misty for Me"). Mister Pink
Yeah to keep story clarity and to keep track where I am, I usually just do one mission set at a time. RUBBΣR░J♢HNNY (スオッ)
The Mysterious One
I read on a FAQ that it was always best to do the first mission for Salvatore right after the meeting mission where you drive Luigi, Joey and Toni to the meeting with the Don. Does it affect anything if I just finish Toni's missions before I do that mission for Salvatore?
spaceeinstein
@TMO, order doesn't matter for any missions outside the list posted above. Does the FAQ provide any reason for your particular order?
The Mysterious One
I read the FAQ a long time ago, like around 2002 or 2003. I am not sure how accurate it is, or why someone would need to do Sal's mission before finishing Toni's strand. I personally prefer to go from boss to boss, especially in this game. Arsen Vitiuk
The first mission for Salvatore disables all missions for Luigi, Joey and Toni while it's still available, for some reason. That is because, storyline-wise, Salvatore's called a meeting, and Luigi, Joey, and Toni are attending - while at the same time, Claude, under orders from Salvatore, takes Maria out in the city to have some fun.And by the time they return, Salvatore has finished his meeting with the aforementioned characters, which is why they are available at their contact points again. thehambone and GTAGuy1995
chapapote
That makes sense. That said, storywise, I suppose we could do something like in that GTA V and talk a bit about how the missions would fit better. A possible order could be: Give me liberty Luigi's Girls Don't Spank ma Bitch Up Drive Misty for me (I think mixing bosses would fit better than doing all missions from a boss in a row. It makes sense for Claude to start working for a new boss soon after jobs are available from the new boss, and come back to the old boss a bit later. On the other side, let's wait a bit, since Joey says to come back later, not right now. I'll put other missions before the first for a new boss. Marty's missions should be done when the time is available, starting from now and thus I won't put them in a fixed place) The Crook/The Thieves/The Wife/Her Lover Mike Lips' Last Lunch (Let's introduce Ammunation before the shootout against the Triads) Pump-Action Pimp Farewell Chunky Lee Chong Van Heist Turismo I Scream, You Scream (I'll put as many Triads missions together as possible) Cipriani's Chauffeur Trial by Fire Taking Out the Laundry The Pick-Up Salvatore Called a Meeting Chaperone (The Forellis and the Triads are mentioned in "Cutting the Grass". They should not be finished before that) Cutting the Grass Big 'n Veiny The Fuzz Ball Dead Skunk in the Trunk The Getaway Triads and Tribulations Blow Fish Bomb da Base Act I Bomb da Base Act II Last Requests (That's for Portland) Edited November 13, 2015 by chapapote Arsen Vitiuk
Arsen Vitiuk
(The Forellis and the Triads are mentioned in "Cutting the Grass". They should not be finished before that) Cutting the Grass Bomb da Base Act I (Ideally, since 8-Balls tells Claude to get some money to pay the bombs in "Bomb da Base part 1", I guess some missions should be between Part 1 and Part 2, like Claude is busy looking for money. What's better than tying off loose ends?) Big 'n Veiny The Fuzz Ball Dead Skunk in the Trunk The Getaway Triads and Tribulations Blow Fish Bomb da Base Act II That is a thought out sequence indeed. However, it is evident that it's been a long time since you played GTA III, because Bomb Da Base is available only after both "Cutting The Grass" and "Blow Fish" are complete! That is why that exact part of mission order is not possible. So that said, try to think of another sequence if you wish, keeping in mind what I have just told you. chapapote
Oh, I thought only part 2 needed to be completed after "Blow Fish". I guess I got it mixed up with LCS, where the mission where yu meet 8-Ball can be completed before Toshijo's missions.
