Highway Battles Minigame Lobby

Emm yeah, I got hooked into the Maximum Tune games again, and couldn't get enough so let's do one in GTA!

 

A little freeroam race I thought of. If we can get intrest, maybe we can actually run a few times.

 

Rules:

-4-6 players at a time, each on different ways of the highway. So if we have a full lobby one group goes counter clockwise, while the other goes clockwise.

-Players compete for first place, and first place gets to choose where to branch in the highway, while the rest have to follow.

-If a player crashes, he/she is eliminated. Unless he/she is the leader and can recover from the crash quickly enough to maintain position or not be too far away from the crowd, then the race continues. The same applies for spinning out.

-Please do not intentionally spin out each other. Ramming in this game is alot less fun than in WMMT.

-Races are run on a 3 miniute timer and the leader when the timer ends wins.

-Please do not hog the emergency lane. It just ruins all point of dodging and weaving through traffic.

-Remember that this is all for fun. Don't get prissy about losing. Like me in the arcade. But we don't talk about that.

-Leader is absolutely not allowed to branch into oncoming lanes. The racers in the back are allowed to use oncoming lanes to overtake, but the leader should never go oncoming.

 

Branching Rules:

This is the map of Los Santos Highway:

 

-Please do not branch into the GOH or the Grand Senora freeway, it just makes the races dull.

-You are allowed to go street level if the leader branches out of Vespucci, as long as you don't go down the GOH.

-The stretch of highway near El Burro can also be used, for some reason this map doesn't count it as one.

-If you find yourself out to the Grand Senora, you must u-turn and head back into the city on the highway.

 

We can also do a little car meet beforehand if you like.

 

All cars allowed, based on what you bring you will be matched to other opponents cars. If not enough cars of similar performance are brought, you will be asked to bring another.

 

Race classes are not based off car classes. They are based off the acceleration and speed of your car.

 

I can host the lobby, but I don't have a mic. So if someone who has a mic and is intrested in leading the lobby, he or she has higher authority than me.

 

Platform I play on is PS3, but if others want to play this on their own platforms, they are allowed to do so.
