Gummy
Yes, GTA V is by far the worst game in the entire franchise. Seriously? You haven't played GTA 1 or GTA 2 on the GBC or GTA Advance?? Right now I could see you saying that E.T for the Atari 2600, Plumbers Don't Wear Ties or any other terrible games are better than GTAV or that GTA IV on lowest graphic settings in f*cking 1x1 resolution is better than V on ultra 4k. GamesBoy316
In some ways, I still consider GTA V to be a GTA game. But it's true, Michael and Trevor are already set, Franklin is the only one that has to get himself to the top and make that money. Sure there's a few activities missing, but that doesn't stop it being from what GTA V is. Can you still kill people? Yes. Can you f*ck hookers and kill them to get your money back? Yes. Is there cheat codes? Yes. Is there replay value? It depends. Either way, GTA V still has the traditional elements from the past GTA games. There's even first person now, making it feel like you're doing all those things. Sure the story isn't all that great, but there's still a few dark moments. Overall, GTA V is still GTA. Lethal Vaccine
Believe me, countless of people have felt like this since the release day in 2013. Exactly. I was just gonna reply and say something similar to this. It's exactly true in my case. V is a good GAME. Not a good GTA game. Something coming from Rockstar with "GTA" slapped on the title should be "better" than what V has become. Currently playing with the Save Editor and making some indestructible vehicles and such. The Editor in my case is the only way to get life back to the game. Maibatsu545, Gnocchi Flip Flops and Official General
paulmgrath
the prologue where your massacaring dozens of cops made me feel like the characters are superheroes rather than petty criminals in gta 4 when you meet the rasta (cant believe i forgot his name) and you have to kill those 3-4 guys during drug deal seemed way more engrossing and intense imo edit lil' jacob Edited July 10, 2015 by paulmgrath

Then he bored the readers with his feelings of guilt because he quite enjoyed such a violent game, bla bla bla again. The review was full of crap like that, at least there were a few lines left to say: oh, by the way, it´s a pretty good game. PrettyVacant
In SP it's the lack of the traditional import/exports that I miss the most. Franklin's tow truck missions don't cut it for me. I've only played online a couple of times and really have no desire to do so again. Maybe if I had friends that played to do some coop missions with, but being stalked and hunted from the moment I log on doesn't appeal to me in the least. I could give a rats ass about GTA 5 online. In previous incarnations of the game, I'd actually put off the export missions as long as possible as a form of carrot dangling - "your reward for X will be stealing 3 cars for export." For one thing, the export missions motivated test driving cars that I generally wouldn't grab otherwise. Plus the title of the franchise is "Grand Theft Auto" and while stealing cars for Devon was OK, it neither had the scope (30 cars for Stevie in IV?) nor reward I've come to expect from the series. Getting stiffed by Devon on those cars was probably the most insulting player rip-off of the game for me. Outside of feeling like there's some missed opportunities for player enjoyment in dropping some of the missions many of us have come to expect, I don't think V feels like it's anything other than a Grand Theft Auto game. Cutter De Blanc
It still feels like a proper GTA game, although it lacks the scope and spectrum of previous installments. Yes, GTA V is by far the worst game in the entire franchise. Seriously? You haven't played GTA 1 or GTA 2 on the GBC or GTA Advance?? lolznc
I'd say that V feels like a GTA game because all GTA games are different, as they generally fall into different crime types. Example: GTA Vice City was centered around drugs & controlling the city a la the mafia. GTA III was centered around being a contracted 'hitman'/ criminal for hire. GTA V was centered around elaborate heists. I guess it feels different from the others because it is a lot more 'glamorous', very far from the gritty feel to III, VC, to an extent SA and IV. hyperar

These anti-V threads keep coming, and the criticisms of this letdown of a game just don't stop. And the worst thing it's coming from a new OP each time. It certainly blows the theory out of the water that those who disliked IV before now like IV and dislike V. This is too funny lool ! Awaiting the arrival of the usual suspects from the RDF To form a garrison lol. Oh wait.....theyve already turned up, rapid response team I see! Spaghetti Cat
Freeroaming and just mucking about...yeah it feels like a traditional GTA game. I do wish there were more Maude missions that were the equivalent of vigilante missions. For being such a large map there should be some more activities, but the art/map departments did an excellent job. Where it falls down is in the story. As noted above, doing car missions for Devon and getting squat for it was pretty dumb move. Simeon should have had a bigger role, much like in Online. Madrasso should have been the big bad rather than the FIB/IAA bs that we got. So good game, bad storyline. But it is GTA. Spaghetti Cat
Lolno. f*ck Simeon in Online. I wouldn't want Online Simeon anywhere near SP. I was using that as an example of a way to introduce a car theft system in a game called GRAND THEFT AUTO. Agreed that his texts are annoying, but I would like some Brucie-like car missions. German Gaming Magazines aswell as the American/English are bought by Publishers anyway and do a lot of click-bait since they are a dieng medium. Oh and before people come with their conspiracy theories... GTA V didn't realy bought the Magazines. They just give the game a good rating so they dont get flamed by the entire Mass of the fanbase...I mean the YouTube Channel of Rockstar Games has more subscribers than GameSpot, and even IGN with 6 million has lost on view count lately. They cannot even hold up to Rockstar...a publisher...of only 6 major AAA Games. Lolno. f*ck Simeon in Online. I wouldn't want Online Simeon anywhere near SP.
