What a joke. Dinka Vindicator = Dinka Thrust. BUYER BEWARE...

If your a motorbike enthusiast like me and haven't got the new bikes yet, then you might want to reconsider how you waste your hard earned cash. I just noticed that my overpriced but under performing Lectro will get dusted by the new Dinka Vindicator. DV is not only cheaper, but while the modded acceleration is slightly less than the lectro, it has superior braking/handling performance and max speed. So had I just waited R* out, I've had the superior bike with this DLC. :facedesk:

http://gta5.donki-le-gris.net/index.php?page=comp&hl=en&vehicle=7&sort=dsc&by=buy

The deciding factor:

DV : $630k at rank #2

DT : $75k at rank #6

.

.

.

Lectro: obvious brainfart on this acquisition to my garage will not be mentioned here. :miranda:

The biggest face palm: the more I look at that spec list, it seems the Dinka Thrust is probably the best investment to get. Because it's not only 10% less than top 2 bikes on that list, but when fully modded, it's performance is about the same as the new DV. Which makes it superior in it's handling and overall speed as a racing bike vs. the new DV and what is now clearly the overpriced Lectro. :facedesk:

This DLC sort of negates all reasons for ppl to even bother with the Pacific Heist tbh. Because unless you're doing this job with a reliable crew, you're likely to end this job coming up short in the cash flow dept. But at least first time players were compensated with the Lectro as a reward. But now if you have the modded cash, better vehicles are but a smartphone applet way. So this DLC just makes doing Pacific a complete waste of time and energy.

edit: STILL waiting on some meaningful DLC content besides your typical new super and shiny gold/silver plated weapon. How about a Heist Creater R*? Or new interiors for the existing properties that we already have since you don't want to provide any more new safe homes? Or pick some random building on the map and convert it into a measly 4th car garage that would store 30 vehicles? So that ppl would'nt have to buy 3 safe houses just to get the storage space. :miranda:

smh

Both are ugly motor-scooters.

True. But it's not the way it looks, its the way it performs. A pimped out super or NPC SWAT vehicle/chopper has nothing on a well modded bike IMO. They couldn't match being able to break in 1-2 secs and turn a sharp corner to warp down a narrow alleyway on the fly. The top 6-7 bikes on that list (and especially the fully modded DT) make escaping 5 star wanted levels a non issue. And IMO, bikes are are actually the ideal vehicle to use as your getaway wheels in heists. I've never had any issues with Pacific heist (with or without carrying cash) when using these to avoid SWAT. Or griefer trolls in their chrome pimped supers in FR.

Wow...just....wow.

That was a thing on the list of plans for GTA Online when it went live, there was one leaked video of a Heist/mission Creator in use (most likely taken down by now) back during the beach bum update, that is however the only time anything of the sort was heard of or seen. Edited by SuzukiBlaze

How about a Heist Creater R*?

Wow...just....wow.

did I miss something? Do we have the ability to add that aircraft carrier in custom missions? Does the existing mission creator have the ability to let us enter those banks with interiors and create our own customized heists?

I'd like to be able to create my own heists. More specifically, I've been wanting to create a high level difficulty heist mission which would require heist members to be maxed in their combat skills (especially the flying skills and lung capacity).

Because as of yet, I still can't do my idea of what an ideal heist mission would involve. So like being able to mod an existing bldg and add existing heist or SP interiors to make a custom mission. Namely:

1. parachuting down from a chopper to the top of the Maize bank <-- oh no wait---this deco bldg doesn't appear to have interior. So I'll have to use the FIB bldg since interiors clearly exist for this in SP. So it theoretically does exist for GTAO.

2. Entering said bldg by rappelling down the side (just like in SP) and entering by breaking in through a window on the top floor. <--oh no wait--still have yet to get the ability to do this in GTAO anywhere

3. Clearing the FIB bldg of enemy NPCs either by stealth or shooting the place to sh*t. <--prefer first way but the 2nd way is about the only way to justify having the WMD arsenal my 150+ level char has amassed to date. Because none of R* existing heists allow me to really tactically use this arsenal to date since they are so completely linear, predictable and overly scripted.

4. Arriving at the "vault" area in the base of the FIB bldg and collecting the cash <--this assumes you can use the Pacifica interior assets where the vault room is and put this in the FIB bldg interior somewhere.

5. Escaping the bldg by going the stealth route using a water route i.e. using submarines/boats <--this assumes you can use the Humane Labs ground floor interior where you escaped in that heist using the rebreather gear. Except this time, you're using the rebreathers you can buy after that heist.

6. If you beat the mission elite challenge to reach the vault in a certain amount of time, then you're rewarded with a sub (which would be spawned at the bottom of that shaft you have to dive down to escape in during the HL mission). 3 Subs would be spawned there for each heist member since sub can only fit one. So each team member would need to open a sub underwater, get in and then navigate their way out of the tunnel to freedom.

7. Each crew member would basically wait out the wanted level safely underwater while navigating to the meet up point in their subs. Resurface at some safe, abandoned beach or island location in the ocean. Wait for the 4th heist member to lose the 5 star heat in a (modded capacity) sea plane which would land and pickup the 3 heist members. Then fly back to LSIA to split the $10M per crew member profit.

OR

8. If you didn't beat the timer to reach the vault in a certain amount of time back in #4, then you would have to escape the hard way as no subs would spawn. Swim your way to the surface where a 5 star SWAT choppers await to shoot your crew to hell. So you're forced to resubmerge and swim with your rebreathers, or flee in boats/rubber dinghy to the nearest island or beach area to escape the wanted level. Then get picked up by the sea plane.

To date, I still can't do any of that as the mission creator appears to be restricted to land based custom missions. So if you've found a way to do any of this, let me know. I'd love to join whatever heist missions you come up with.

It took R* a year and a half (plus however they were working on it before GTAO went live) to give us 5 heists. And they're professionals [< people will read that and laugh]... There's no way in hell that we'd ever get a heist creator. It took R* years to create heists that worked well. There's no way that they could dumb down their development tools enough so that even the lowest common denominator in GTAO cud dezine hiz on hists.

That's the thing about "leaks"; there's seldom any context. Someone using a functional heist creator? It's HIGHLY likely that whatever footage that was shown was someone (if it wasn't an actual developer) that got a hold of the actual development tools intended for the actual game developers.

Its a cruiser bike which is comparable to the Thrust.

But its not the same.. Infact i think it handles worse and feels heavier.

Kers... work alot better on the more nimble Lectro.. thats for sure.

Rockstar has been slacking in the crotch rocket department. There are many different fast bikes irl, yet there's only 2 good fast bikes. The Bati 801 and Hakuchou which represents Ducati and Hayabusa. How about the BMW s1000rr? The Kawasaki Ninja H2R? The jet powered 2YK? Not to mention these bikes should really rival supers/sports cars

*sigh*

Not to come across sounding as ungrateful as the existing heists we've got are relatively bug free. And also do pay well. Except the higher challenge paying ones are difficult to get into. Because the server and heist on call features are so impractical, unreliable and laggy. Waiting in a heist lobby for 15-20 mins for that 1 final heist member to join so the heist can begin is bad enough. Especially since some of the setup missions can literally be completed with ONE player (aka the Heist Leader). Perfect example is Pacific Standard-Vans setup where all you need to do is hunt down the PostOp vans and take photos. You DON'T NEED 4 PPL TO DO THIS PARTICULAR SET UP MISSION. If that mission could be edited (either by R* or players) to reduce the requirement to one crew member, then the number of setup missions for final Pacific Standard heist would be reduced. Which is a boost for first time heist leaders. Would also make the availability of playing this mission easier, since more heist leaders would be able to replay this mission.

It's a pain to sit and wait some 20 mins in a heist lobby/on call to join a heist mission, only to be booted from the lobby because the 4th person joining either had a bad connection. Or other heist members decided to randomly leave. Or be on the verge of starting a heist and have heist leader or other members quit for whatever reason. And that's just for the typical low paying heist missions like Prison Break, since the other higher paying heist missions like Series A and above are more complicated, cost the heist leader more money to set up etc etc. And then have these missions ruined by unreliable crew members or randoms who quit or are too low skilled. The issues with the existing heist missions are too many to count.

R* is better off trying to improve the missions it currently has instead of putting out cheap, superficial content that players typically burn through in a couple of game hours. I'd rather they fixed joining heist lobbies and/or patching existing heist missions (if possible) to add more areas/mission criteria. Or let players have the ability to edit them. That would make playing online so much more valuable.

And yes, the heist creator is clearly R* dangling carrot on a stick. It's how they control and keep players engaged playing GTAO to (legally) make money. But it's somewhat insulting to think that some ppl who play wouldn't be able to figure out how to use a custom heist creator. Players are already skilled at using the existing content creator to make missions etc. Some of these ppl are even real software devs irl. So if ppl can still outsmart R* hacking money and importing objects like UFOs online, then why wouldn't they be able to figure out how to use a heist creator?

There are issues with many portions of the game. Given GTAO's track record, we're lucky that lengthy wait times and quitters are the only major issues with heists.

Again. It took R* YEARS to come up with we have. You're asking them to add more areas/criteria? To go back in and alter the very fundamentals of what we had to wait forever for? Or to let the players "edit" them? LOL. Keep dreaming. They're professional game developers. The mouthbreathers here most certainly are not.

And yes, the heist creator is clearly R* dangling carrot on a stick. It's how they control and keep players engaged playing GTAO to (legally) make money. What in God's name are you talking about? R* isn't dangling anything. Whichever full of sh*t leaker that posted that video is dangling things in front of your face. Of course they want to keep players engaged and make money... What game developer/creator/company/etc. doesn't? No offense, but you (and a lot of people that think the way you do) don't know ANYTHING about game development. Hell, I don't know anything about game development, but I know that things like "map additions" and job/heist creators would take YEARS AND YEARS to create, test and implement...

The OP belongs in the Bitch and Moan thread. And your complaints and ramblings are just barely coherent.
