PSA: Progen T20 broken on last gen

Broughy's vehicle test are reliable. Never said he was god. Also, no one ever said that Broughy was the only person to listen to when it comes to car performance. Other's have tested and agreed. The video was just to illustrate what we're talking about and the reason why I'd use Broughy's video is because he gives reliable information.

 

Dunno how ignorant you have to be, but ok then. Don't worry, even I thought the T20 was perfectly fine when I first brought it out for a drive. After a while of using it in freeroam and in heists/missions, I started to notice that it understeered the crap so I tried it out in some tracks. Never did reach the lap times the top supers can make. Others who've tested/raced can agree.

 

The T20's spoiler is broken and doesn't provide the traction/effects that it does on next gen. It's only aesthetics for last gen at this moment. Wether you're going to accept that doesn't matter to me, but it's true and you can keep believing that it's not broken, whatever.

 

Stating wether or not the Banshee's tho only car that can do the speed boost isn't even a concern in a racing standpoint, which is what Broughy normally tests. You don't even see anyone choose a Banshee in a race, nor do you even see anyone try to attempt doing the boost because once they f it up, they will lose a position.

No broughy is not God. But he tries to find facts by well thought out tests.

 

His last spoiler test for example, there are only 3 different explanations for why the car underperformed with broken spoiler.

 

1. Broughy forgot how to drive after he broke the spoiler.

 

2. Cars perform worse when damaged at the back, broken spoiler or not.

 

3. Working spoiler adds traction.

 

 

Now in my opinion, the test could be completed if Broughy does the same test again on ps3 or xbox360.

I always thought that the car performs worse when damaged from the front (because it fs up the way the car turns and performs.) When damaged from the back, I don't think it does too much that would make the car several seconds worse. Maybe 1 and a half seconds slower than undamaged? Maybe even less?

Missing out on graphics, I couldn't care less. Missing out on FPV, I couldn't care less. Missing out on cars like the Dukes, couldn't care less. Missing out on more songs, okay that I do care about. I have an Xbox One but I'm not buying this game again. It's not worth it, I don't enjoy it that much to replay SP (the mode I care about more) or pay for it again, I just don't. Plus I'm fine with last-gen. The graphics still look good, the cars are still good (and this stuff about the T20 understeering is pure bullsh*t), I have save editor so my SP mode doesn't have to suffer from lacking Online exclusives, and I... I just couldn't care less about upgrading. As I've said before I will likely get the PC version but only to mess around with mods and stuff. My sister has the PS4 version of this game and I've watched her play it. It still didn't convince me.

 

And whenever Rockstar cuts off further DLC for last-gen, oh well. I don't think I'll care after the SP DLC anyway...

Upgrading is worth it. It does more than fix one single bug

I don't know what the deal is. I've seen my sister play the game on PS4 and I have the PS3 version. Yeah the aliasing is better, you've got FPV, and more songs but other than that it doesn't make me want to transfer at all. I'm not sinking more money into this game I, I paid about $100 for the copy I already have. I already have a grocery list of criticisms and complaints towards this game. As a game to cruise around and explore it's okay but as a GTA game I couldn't hate it more. There's nothing violent that I actually want to do in this game. I just drive and explore, that's it.

Xb360, tried this out last night on one of my favorite tracks...didn't remove the armor, took 8+ strong hits to get the spoiler to stop popping up, and it performed the same as when it was popping up...

 

I'll admit that I didn't believe the issues people are complaining about at first, but there's plenty of evidence at this point...the car is great, but on 360 it's not the same nor the best.

Didn't you read his replies? He doesn't care. Current gen version will be history by the time VI comes out. I bet you people will still be playing the current gen version and probably the old gen version as well.

I have a T20 on PS3 and it works wonderfully.

 

My T20 out accelerates every car in the game (I have tested from 0.62 to 1.11 mile drag races).

 

The T20 has the third highest top speed - an Adder and the Osiris will out run it on long top speed races with sweeping corners (tested on 8.5 and 11+ mile races).

 

My T20 has no problems with understeer. The T20 is second in handling, only the Turismo R on a few races where handling is paramount will still out pace every car due to its better handling and better brakes (unfortunately the Turismo R lacks top speed - tested on 1.14 and 2.25 mile lap races). But, the T20 easily out handles the Zentorno and Adder, has approximately the same handling as the Osiris... making it marginally better than the Osiris overall on most races.

 

A T20 fully upgraded handles very well, accelerates like crazy and is easy to drive very, very fast.

 

All my cars are fully upgraded, engine, transmission, spoiler, splitter, skirts, hood, brakes, high end wheels/tires, suspension.

It is not that we do not understand the issue, it appears that many of us on old gen DO NOT have any problems with the T20 as described... our T20's are NOT broken. They work just fine.

Yet many people are reporting that theirs are broken, including people who own both consoles and have tested it on each one. Whether all of them are broken or just some of them, there is obviously an issue of some sort.

Just an FYI for all the lemmings who love and worship Broughy1322... You need to learn about valid test procedures, learn to test for yourself, and realize that just because someone posts videos on the internet, does not make anything they say ... TRUE... Broughy is the source of many incorrect notions about the way things work on GTA.

 

His tests are invalid because he only tests on his one custom track (which lacks high speed sweeping corners and long straightaways).

 

He does not test "fully upgraded" cars as he claims on his introduction screens - in his own informational videos he states things like don't bother with suspension and certain other upgrades, as he says there is no way to test if they work and he thinks they are just a placebo effect... so they are NOT fully upgraded... they just have whatever he thinks is good...

 

He states off road tires are a must, that all tires have the same traction, but, off road gives a smoother ride over curbs and bumps due to the side wall height.

 

He claims bullet proof tires have less traction... etc, etc...

 

All these examples I have listed are things Broughy states as facts, but, can in fact be proven to be incorrect by anyone who wants to test them using proper testing procedures.

 

Broughy refuses to use any logical procedures that could possibly be accepted as valid testing... such as testing on multiple tracks or varying types of races to see what strengths or weaknesses of a particular car could be discovered by doing VALID tests. Broughy in his own words says that he has not been able to figure out how to test upgrades like suspension??? Since he says he cannot figure out how to test to see if suspension and certain other upgrades affect performance... why should anyone believe he has figured out the best way to test anything else???
