PSA: Progen T20 broken on last gen

I'm on ps3 and i must say the t20 handles much better than the Osiris and I've had no problems with speed or acceleration. Maybe it's peoples connections or something??

Probably true. I drove it around in SP on PS3 and didn't see what the hype was about. Hard to turn, light as a feather, and shoots into the air on every pebble in the road.

Douchey or not, it's the truth. I'm not a hyper car fanboy but the T20 is pretty up there on my list of good handling/fun cars. I haven't had any issues with the driving, it seems like every car that actually feels like a car in this game gets bashed by people who don't know how to corner properly and then cry oversteer/understeer.

 

Douchey or not, who the f*ck cares? I'm tired of people praising the most mundane cars and then claiming somethings wrong with the funnest cars. It's why we have so many cars that are utterly boring to drive and hold your hand all of the time. Not every car is going to hold your hand.

 

What is "the truth" exactly? That you like the way it handles? The issue isn't whether or not you like the handling, but rather whether or not it is equal on both console generations. You can say "oh it handles so good!" all you want, but that isn't the issue that is (or should be) being discussed.

 

I do not suck at driving and know plenty about how vehicle balance works and how to adapt to a vehicle's handling balance, and I can tell you that my T20 understeered quite a bit.

 

I fully agree with you about people whining about the vehicles that are difficult to drive, one of my favorite cars to drive is the Coquette Classic and people are always whining about "OMG ITZ LIEK ITZ ON ISE BRO SO BAD" about it. It was the same in GTA IV with everyone complaining constantly about it, no one wants to actually practice and be faced with a vehicle (or driving mechanic) they need to learn how to use.

Instead of going back and forth on this issue with a lot of "He said, She said" nonsense wouldn't it be better to use concrete data such as comparing the handling file coding for the T20 between CG (PS4/XBOne/PC) and LG (PS3/XB360)?

 

It would certainly clear up the confusion and eliminate human error/bias as well as the incessant need for everyone to validate/insult/one-up each others' "what I said, what they said, what some what some youtuber said" statements.

ask anybody who knows how the ingame stats work. none of the tires affect the performance of any vehicle in any way. the only hink that makes a difference is bullet proof tires, which gives the vehicle slightly less traction... this is old news though...

Full areo mods fix problems. Mine feels glued, out handles everyone and everything.

 

Interesting. My T20 handles like garbage but I haven't got the splitter, diffuser or the vented hood. Guess I'll make it ugly and see if that fixes it.

Wrong. Offroad wheels make for quite different handling. It's a dramatic change on some vehicles.

Well, I was racing it today and I felt like it didn't handle the way it should. I dont have any other console so I can't prove if this is true.
I was really sad that I couldn't drive it so well, it was really hard for me.

How can anyone tell if it IMPROVES traction or not? It's not a optional add-on spoiler. It comes with the car and there is no way to add another. You have no idea how the car behaves without it.

I'm on my phone, so I'm sorry I can't provide a video link. But watch broughy1322 on youtube, latest upload. He broke the spoiler during the race, which gave him the option to test the car without the spoiler. With said broken spoiler he came up with the exact lap times as last gen users.

 

Coincidence? I think not, but that's just my opinion.

If you don't race enough, you will keep assuming that the cars are working 100% fine because you don't expose them to different scenarios like sharp turns after a really long straight or technical courses with several turns while still trying to achieve the quickest lap time possible. I don't have a next gen console, but I've seen Broughy's test with the T20 that proved that it was the fastest car in the game. I tested it out for myself on an airport track and I wasn't even able to get close to the times I was able to achieve with the Turismo R or the Osiris, even other NODO crew members couldn't achieve quick lap times and they're really good racers.
