omenofdeath957
*sigh* I really think something drastic should've happened here. One of the two should've pulled the trigger.Same thing that happened in fame or shame. The writers took the easy way(have some dumb chinese mahf*ckers come and f*ck up a great cutscene,"get the boyfriend").How can rockstar have franklin kill one of these two for no reason, when they have the perfect reason to kill eachother in this mission. I really think Trevor should've shot Michael.Even if he just seriously injured him.The writers decides it would be appropriate to kill the 2 protags when they don't deserve to die,but don't kill them when it would be more fitting. happygrowls
*sigh* I really think something drastic should've happened here. Trevor finding out Mike's Secret and that his friend has been dead for years aswell as Michael being kidnapped by the LS Triads isn't drastic enough? Maya Echo Visari
While I like multiple endings in games, I lean toward more solid and compassionate endings in games where the characters are already developed to an extent. Like most GTA characters. Unlike let's say a Bethesda game, where you create your character and choose who that person is to become, multiple endings in a game like GTA just waters down the potential in the writing imo. Instead of focusing on how to create three possible endings without obstructing the premise, they could create a story from start to finish and exhaust all of their resources into perfecting that one story. Of course, there is the promised DLC, which I'm sure is taking so long because they want to continue the story from each of the three endings available and if the DLC is so good it might even nullify my post - but as it stands right now, I think the game could've benefited from just one solid ending, like a traditional Rockstar title. But whatevs, it's all set in stone. OT: If I had a hand in the development, I would say this: Give T and M five more minutes before the Chinese arrive. Because neither of them are going to pull the trigger. It's obvious and it's painful to see a good emotional climax get washed away by an unbelievable, one-sided shootout. I really hoped that there, they'd settle things. Maybe a fistfight? Maybe they'd lower their guns and just talk it out? Trevor wouldn't shoot Michael, and Michael only drawed his gun to act in self-defense. I highly doubt either of them we're going to shoot eachother when they're both demanding eachother to shoot first. So then the Chinese arrive.. Is it too cliché to think that maybe Trevor and Michael should shoot their way through the Triads? Maybe. But working with what I have, I come to remember this game has 'Hollywood' written all over it, so I think it fits just right.
ArmyRaidFail404
The game was sh*t to begin with. If you want my opinion then read, if not then onto the next post. The game is really stale. But not orthodox stale. Sure a lot of new things were introduced, but it had no culture. Think about it. GTA IV had the Russian immigrant type of feel, combined with the hardships of starting a new life. SA easily had that gang sensation. Arguably, every game before V had a vibe. Also, the story makes no f*cking sense. Forgive me for repeating this statement spread across GTAF like a virus, but it's true. I can accept the coincidence of Trevor and Michael living around the same area, but if you're a rich white guy and saw a black thug walk up to your house it would be smart to think something other than best buds. The game from what I could tell was about Michael and Trevor. Not Franklin. I guess what I'm trying to say is that if Franklin was out of the picture then we could focus on the true protagonists. Franklin could be part of DLC. Rockstar could focus on making both Trevor and Michael look like antagonists and have their ultimate goal to tie up loose ends. It would have made a lot more sense if this had happened instead of a merry adventure with Franky and Micky, and Trevor tucked to the side.
