roadrage19
I seriously don't see why we need to put up spoilers to keep from ruining the game for everyone. Here's a better way for someone to not have the storyline of the game ruined for them: don't search a page that discusses the events of the game. They're the ones reading other people's comments. So when you think about it, the gamers who haven't finished the game ruined it for themselves. If I wanted to learn more about any type of story of a game, I'd play the game myself to learn. So if these gamers don't want to spoil the story for themselves, they shouldn't be reading a page about it until they're completely finished with its story. watersgta3
I agree. It really doesn't make any sense to search for a game when you haven't even finished the storyline. Listen up folks. Play the game first, then come back and discuss it with us. Link to comment https://gtaforums.com/topic/807019-about-spoilers/#findComment-1067718681 Share on other sites
GamesBoy316
"Hey look! There's a whole video about what happens in the story of San Andreas! Let me see what it's about! Wait, what the f*ck! Why is there spoilers?! Disliked!" This basically sums up the people who act like this. universetwisters
Sometimes though, it's interesting for it to happen the other way around. I was that way once GTA 5 came out. I saw the ending cutscene for the third way and Devin Weston in the trunk of the car being pushed off and I was thinking to myself "I wonder what got them there". Then when I got the game and met Devin, I thought to myself "What will Devin do to get what he got in that cutscene. theGTAking101 1 Link to comment https://gtaforums.com/topic/807019-about-spoilers/#findComment-1067719001 Share on other sites
Paul723
It's stupid as f*ck for anyone to search for [insert game here] when they didn't even finished the storyline. We shouldn't be using spoilers because people who hasn't finish the game shouldn't be hopping in discussions about them. Don't read somebody else's comments if you don't want to spoil the storyline for yourself. PhillBellic
In my case I actually read/watch the Story ahead of Time so I can concentrate on the subtle things better. Luddite
There can be justifiable reasons to alert folks. I remember when Batman Returns was released in thaters at midnight. I watched the 4:30am news where they interviewed ppl leaving the theater. A kid around 7 or 8 years old said, "I didn't think they'd let the Joker live but they did." I don't blame the child. I do blame the segment editor who chose to air this child's spoiler a mere 2 hours after the first showing let out. Lethal Vaccine
In my case I actually read/watch the Story ahead of Time so I can concentrate on the subtle things better. Youtube is your best friend. But yeah, I do the same thing. I don't care about Spoilers, even if it's a Game I never played. More than likely, I will forget anyways as it's not important enough to remember for me. In regards to V's 'Endings', I looked them up in a Walkthrough. I couldn't care less really about being Spoilt, or not. Lethal Vaccine
Yeah, when it came to IV, TLaD, TBoGT, and V, I made sure I picked the endings that made sense to me. For example, I like being able to store Vehicles in V and customize them. How would this work to it's fullest capacity if one of the Characters are dead? Idc if I find T or M a piece of sh*t. I like the Garage space, so there is never a reason to kill any of them. Thus the only option is picking C. If I never looked up this stuff back in October 2013, I may have picked the inappropriate ending. I always check stuff out before I start. Afterall, since I obtain Special Vehicles there is usually only ONE WAY to do it and if you don't know THAT WAY, it would appear unobtainable to you. So yeah, the Videos out there help everyone out and there is reasons to look at some things before starting. I always plan everything out, since my goal is being efficient.
