This has been happening to me for a couple of weeks now,when I play buzzards deathmatch no lock whatsoever , was just hoping problem with game and not that it was removed

I don't get it...why was my thread merged with this one? It's about the vehicle rockets, not the Homing Launcher weapon you carry around as mentioned in the OP. Anyways, my only issue with the Homing Launcher is how it takes these super unrealistic turns. Pulling off 270 and 180 degree turns like crazy. Should be toned down a bit.

I've had an easier time flying jets after the Hl came out, because it is so ridiculously easy to dodge when you know how the missiles work, and I certainly don't consider myself the most talented of jet pilots.

 

People choose to default to it on account of its one-shot kill abilities, forgetting about using the heavy sniper or other weapons that can't be dodged, and end up wasting thousands of dollars in rockets. Just for giggles, I ran in circles above one guy until he ran out of rockets, the came back and did it again after he bought more. The Besra jet can do it too, and while not a usual occurrence, I even dodged a couple with a Cuban 800 by hugging buildings.

 

My preferred way to eliminate jets is either with my own Hydra, or ramming them in buildings with the unarmed Besra jet.

I'm sure a real jet probably can't go slow enough to pick off individual people with its cannon though, or pull up quick enough to be capable of dive bombing people.Good question...they generaly bomb things i think...

Depends on the jet, the A-10 warthog is very capable of doing these type of things.

But the a10 is specialy designed for doing that... anti vehicular warfare....

thats why it has such an insane gatling gun

I agree if they switch it with basic rpg, low lvls need some sort of defence against karuma's insurgent, jets or wheelmen like me. Won't be as easy for them but it shouldn't be easy anyway. But that being said shouldn't be near impossible either

I give away guns to low lvls sometimes lol they need some sort of defence, most of them suck so might as well give them a fighting chance. I give them everything too lol except my flare gun nobody gets my flare gun

what i meant was day one players had to earn and grind to get the good stuff. thats what day 1 has to do with this.

Thats the point.Day 1 players those days only had a pistol, now lowls have a fu*kin stinger that obsoletes the RPG many of us earned after sweating hard.

You can't pick and choose what they get. They are updates, updates are for everybody not " day 1 players" only. That being said I don't completely disagree with the topic. Like I have stated I think the rpg and homing should be switched lvl 100 for the homing and rpg no level required. It can't be near impossible for new players to defend themselves from high level Griefers.

Who said the updates were for day 1 players only? Thats some stupid mentality whoever thought of that. Also just because someone's only played for 26 hours doesnt mean they should get a say or an opinion. I have played for much much more then that and Im not trying choose what people should and shouldnt get. Im saying if they wanted to make it more fair they should be level locked. Rockstar give countless oppertunites for double rp. Whether they choose to abuse that or not is up to them.

Give the jets flares. If they won't do that then at least let the choppers take 2-3 shots before being taken down.

I never said updates were for day 1 players only. The homing missile which u want level required is a update, they are for everybody, if I u lock the level its not really for everybody is it? But if it was replaced with rpg it makes more sense. I never said that he doesn't have a opinion or anything but he can't use the whole " we worked hard and grinded and put in time routine " when in reality somebody that's level 40 could have put in more time than him. I'm saying the level of entitlement That he has for his " time and hard work " in no way reflects the actual time he has put in

 

What I'm saying is it would NOT be fair to level lock the homing without atleast giving low lvls a rpg. There are still players just buying the game that are just starting that are not very good how would it be fair to them?

In my opinion, the only way for Rockstar to address the problem of jet griefers is to take away the jet cannon's explosive properties and make it like the Buzzard's minigun.

 

I don't consider myself that good of a pilot, but even I can dodge homing missiles easily.
