Slam_Jones
Paleto Bay. Out of the way, quiet, a few nice houses. Just no 10-car garages there :\ A.O.D.88
PrettyVacant
The Sonar Collection Dock. On my PC, the water from the top of the stairs is unbelievably photo-realistic.

Saikou
The small park by Natasha's house. (The house that Michael pulls down the hill with Franklin) It's almost always filled with dogs and people just having a good time, I like it. DaWiesel
You could have used this thread. http://gtaforums.com/topic/796635-the-southern-san-andreas-appreciation-thread/ Anyway, in Los Santos it's definitely Vespucci Beach, pretty much feels exactly like the real Venice Beach. In the Los Santos County outside of the city it would be the Tongva Hills with the amazing scenic Buen Vino Road and the vineyards, Tongva Valley looks great too, very under appreciated IMO. In Blaine County I would go with Raton Canyon, it's the most remote place in Southern SA and it actually has a great forest, much better than Paleto Forest. S1N0D3UTSCHT3K
Oil derricks of Grand Senora Desert I save and log off here almost every single time I play the game And stops I leave my game on and let the game just idle -- sort of like an ambient screensaver -- while I work I'll have Bloomberg TV and terminal on a few tvs and then a little piece of desert atmosphere, birds chirping and oil derricks creaking and wind blowing, on another tv emelen and lolznc

GamesBoy316
There's a lot of great places here. A few them are the beach at Los Santos, Paleto Bay, the forest by it, and the cave on PS4, Xbox One, and PC. Or actually, basically the whole map is a great place, I'm sure there's a few places I didn't fully discover it. Heists
Shadowfennekin
Blaine County. I wish R* wasn't lazy and made actual interiors for the houses out there instead of copy/pasting the low level apartment interior. A.O.D.88

NeuralFailiure
The long road stretching from a bit behind Dr. Friedlander's place going up through Chumash and all the way round to Paleto bay. Basically that whole road you can follow down through the desert and back into LS. Perfect for cruising and sight-seeing. Love putting Mikey in a drop top and cruising that road with LSRR on. Gnocchi Flip Flops
Too many to list, I'll just say Richman/Rockford/Vinewood Hills for now: The amount of detail thrown into these three neighborhoods in astonishing. And those narrow winding passes packed full of homes are an absolute dream to drive on. If you really want to test a car out and find out fun it is to drive, go here. I love this place, wish we could buy more houses up here. Edited July 12, 2015 by Scaglietti
GTA-Biker
My favorite place in GTA 5 is Route 68,it is a great location to just cruise with some classic vehicle, listen to some classic rock and relax.Because of the similar road markings it also reminds me of real life Route 66 which I would like to visit one day.
