Trading races with a friend outside the prison is the best way to go.

we prefered the race in the sewers. (down the drain? maybe, standard it was a muscle car race but you could change it to whatever you liked).

remember if you gonna do it to set the race to supers so you unlock the unlocks for every car type. (at least thats the way it originally worked).

Don't even need to do that... host your own race and turn slipstream/catchup off. The majority don't know how to use turbo boost properly - if you do, you'll more than likely win every race. I also turned off collision and put traffic on (spawns cars in the car park but after you leave the starting grid) and using turbo boost at the start combined with the majority of players not noticing the cars and smashing into them - easily got my 40 or so wins almost in a row, lost 2 I think.

or. OR. options here. You can not do what you just said, host criminal records with 1 lap, and boost races. Significantly less effort. Guaranteed wins :^:

Run the drag races in my sig, they are more fun then just running criminal records; there's 5 of them put them in a playlist and have a blast.

Does anyone have something similar for PS3?

So naturally, f*ck R* because your cheats aren't working anymore?

GTAF logic.

So please, tell me how's obtaining a f*cking North Yankton plate can hurt your feelings in any way, shape or form possible.

modding a license plate isn't the issue at hand. Modding performance parts onto a car without making the effort to actually unlock them is technically gamebreaking, as it gives you the same performance advantages as someone who legitimately unlocked (or farmed) them. Now you don't have that advantage, and now people are complaining because now you actually have to race for your racing parts.

I personally never cared. Having a performance advantage over players with less experience has never struck me as a "fair" race. If I cannot win on even terms, then they deserve those performance mods more than I do. that is completely understandable, however I see it differently. It isn't the most fair viewpoint, especially to new players, but in the beginning you needed skill to win, which unlocked the parts to give you an advantage. With the iFruit mods, you didn't work to obtain your race wins, you simply handed yourself everything to put yourself at or above other players in races.

I dunno, just my opinion.

I remember when I first started playing back in 2013, I was told Down the Drain was a good race to grind. So I tried it out solo, memorized where every piece of cardboard was, before hosting some races. At first I left customs on, but then I raced a guy on Bati 801's. His was custom, mine was stock. I rode a flawless race, didn't make a single mistake. He crashed twice, but still won the race. Both times he respawned right next to me, but was able to just pull away.

In the end I had no choice but to turn custom vehicles off in-order to start getting some wins. The performance advantage he had allowed him to make multiple big errors and still win. Skill didn't seem to matter much.
