25% Rebate Theory

Is Rockstar's 25% Rebate indicitive of an impending 4th property?

 

Like many others, I've burned some coin selling fully upgraded vehicles to pave the way for IGG 1/2 vehicles, so perhaps this is compensation.

 

If not, why do we have this rebate?

 

It is a data mining strategy from rockstar. It's required to subscribe to rockstar socialclub and mailing list to receive this rebate.

More like they are looking at the stats and more and more people are not buying the overpriced pieces of crap they putting in the recent updates....

It's a simple trick to get you on their mailing list, pure marketing nothing more...

There's no hidden meaning other than a way to increase spam to people who have willingly signed themselves up. And we did. Everyone of us, because we're suckers.

It's only when they relase new games, run streams, competitions or DLC content for their games and all of what I've listed still doesn't even result in them "spamming" my inbox.

 

Even last year, and this year so far combined, I've recieved less than 15 emails from them. All of this hate toward R* is hilarious.

True, I haven't received many emails from R*, just as you said, for updates, game releases. I'll see one maybe once a month, not too sure.

Yeah they're not spamming my inbox at all and I've been on the mailing list since launch. I get an email for a new DLC and I think one for each event weekend and that's pretty much it. Maybe one or two a month max, and it's actual relevant info about the game.
