Missing Vehicle

There is a vehicle I have had for awhile. I recently fully upgraded it with the exception of the explosives. It has been destroyed many times and I simply call Mors Mutual to get it back.
However, this time when it was destroyed while I was loading a mission. I did the usual and called Mors Mutual to get it refunded. They got my vehicle back and told me to pick it up so I decided to leave it. (Im assuming this is how I caused the problem as it is what I can recall doing differently than previous times), shortly after calling them I brought a new vehicle and insured it into Los Santos Customs and this vehicle took the place of my Pegassi Zentorno in my garage. I removed the newer vehicle to a different garage to see if I glitched it somehow. To no avail. I have called the mechanic and personally searched all my garages and called Mors multiple times. I can find it no where.
Is there a way to get my vehicle back without having to re-purchase and modify it?
It took allot of logged in hours and races to be able to get it the way it was, and I am not looking forward to having to do that again. If you can help me, that would be great. Thank you for any consideration and I hope this helps to solve similar issues if they should arise.
