I plan on getting this baby as soon as I get an extra 200k to actually be able to buy it. Kinda reminds me of the Cuban Jetmax from GTA Vice City too :inlove:

Nice. I was tempted, but just never use boats, so it seemed a bit pointless for me. Maybe if they put a mounted gun on it or something...!

Same here - am very tempted as I think it looks beautiful...but there is still no incentive to go in the water online!

 

I have 2 boats that I have used precisely once each since the start of online. R* needs to add some interest to the water. It takes up a huge area and they have already done the hard work in creating it. It amazes me that the whole underwater has been carefully created, but then no thought has been given to encourage players to experience it. The same thing with the water itself - the waves are great and the feel of the boats is good.

 

I think they should add scuba gear to every boat for starters - is ridiculous that it isn't currently. Then there should be things to explore - undersea caves would be good, but wrecks would be even better. They have the plane wreck in SP (not sure if its online as well?), but would be great to have more wrecks like this. Add in harpoons as an underwater weapon and you could have some great deathmatches amongst the wrecks. On this note, I would love to see them add an oil rig online. Would work for most job types - adversary, deathmatches etc, but would also encourage using boats to get there.

Say, anyone want to meet up in a small informal boat meet to celebrate the DLC? Cars can ofcourse also be shown off at the marina parking lot. Maybe get some Toro's together at around GMT 19:00/CET 20:00??

The Valkyrie is only fun when you can use it with a bunch of friends/randoms/crew members etc.

 

I would go for the Toro since it's cheaper, nicer, and I'm sure you would not regret it in every sense.

The Valkyrie is only fun if you have some friends/crew to play with.The Toro is fun approximately never.

 

Seriously overpriced and close to useless.Buy a dingy if you really want a boat

Friend and I went for a cruise in one, its not really that fast by looking but due to its large wave cutter its surprising how fast you actually travel, you cut through the waves like they aren't even there. We were up to the rapids in about 4 minutes. The horn sounds great as well.

 

EDIT: Also you can hold Y and simply sit in the back as a passenger which is nice, you cannot drink champagne/smoke a cigar/surf the web though sadly.

I see you have not spent much time underwater. There are many, many, many shipwrecks, plane wrecks, other wreckage underwater. Even an UFO. It is the exact same in SP and Online. There are also a few caves.

If it had some features to it like the swift and luxor deluxe I would have been all over it as it looks so good! But I will have to stick to my pegassi speeder for now. I'm still tempted though it looks so good! I love these Italian boats from the lakes and the water taxis of Venice and such

It'd be better if it wasn't so expensive. IMO, it's not worth it since not many people ride boats in Free Mode and if you do a Sea Race you can choose it anyway.

Wasn't tempted to buy this, since I have a lot of boats already and never really use them at all. The price doesn't justify it being worth buying either. I'd rather keep building my money even more
