Does R* not want to sell Shark Cards at all?

3 updates with several cars each (Heists, Ill Gotten Gains, Ill Gotten Gains 2) and STILL no 4th house/garage.

 

I mean really, I'm sure people is asking for this. Cars collectors hate breaking up there collections, while I am managing to scrape up a few exposable cars I can see others not wanting to sell anything.

 

And really what's the issue?

 

4th house - more money used buying new house, more money used buying more cars to fill spaces, more likelihood of shark card sales.

 

Currently - No money spent in new houses. Limited if any money at all going into new cars, less car buying overall, some of the losses of new cars being recouped by sales of old cars. Less likelihood of shark card sales.

 

 

I mean if R* method for online is making money from selling shark cards. Then not having a 4th property after 3 loaded updates goes directly AGAINST that plan.

 

 

So why no 4th property yet? Makes no sense at all.

I think that Rockstar feels that if they allow a 4th apartment/house, they would be obligated to create another interior design. That much design seems to be way beyond their capability at this point.

So... when they add the 4th property they'll add one or two new vehicles in order to compensate the lack of content. What does this mean? The room we made by selling some cars will be refilled by buying cars again, which means... more shark cards.

I have a rich friend who tried to buy a few mega shark cards and it turns out there's a cool down on how many you can buy at once =p it wouldn't let him buy another one right away.

I did the math some months back and late July to early August is when we're due another garage.

 

They could've just given us 10 garages from the start and let us all spend money on shark cards to buy everything that way too. I have no idea why they don't let us own more.

Garage updates also tended to come when Heists got pushed back again.

Lol, the people who go "Doesn't R* want to make more money? Then give us more garages!" are the same people who call them greedy for even selling the cards and claim they will never buy one.

It's a win for Rockstar.

 

This way you'd have to sell your lovely car/bike and lost more than 50% of what you invested in that item in order to make space for your new investment. Then, one day when you want your lovely car/bike back, you'll have to sell another and lost more than 50% again in the older investment in order to make space for your re-purchased stock. This is how Rockstar make you burn your money over investments.

 

By having more free garage slots means more frozen investments. Limited space, Demand, and Trade-ins creates evil triangle that keeps your money burning.

 

 

It's just that simple.

 

 

Addition: In the end, this creates a chance of cash card sales. Even if you don't buy CC and decided to grind, people like you will make the game traffic high and such statistic is a beautiful thing for investors. Then Investor will keep dropping money on Rockstar to keep developing in hoping to get their money back in multiplied. It's win-win for Rockstar.

I'd really like my 10 car garage by the airport to have an option to upgrade to 2x 10 spots since there's 2 large garage doors yet only one is an entrance, same goes for other garages. That way garages would store more cars than apts, we keep our current assets + buy more and we don't waste potential Lenny Avery properties simply to get more garage space.

 

I think that would be easy and effective. Cause in reality, who owns 2 luxury condos in the same city? Makes no sense... more storage space does.

I have 3 apartments and don't really need more at the moment tbh.

 

I got 1 garage filled with all supers, 1 filled with classics and the other has my insurgent/Kuruma and couple bikes.

 

I see a lot of people going on about extra garage space and another apartment on here but to me there are far more important things R* need to do to actually make this game interesting again for higher level players than just an extra 10+ storable cars. I mean yes at some point add extra space/storage but NOT NOW!!

Here is a better idea as you will only keep asking for more after the forth one anyway... Why don't they allow you to change garage type so you can have one with 50 slots that cycle cars and the current 10 car one as a 'showroom' option? I can't actually believe we couldn't even cycle slots in single player as it is a well established game mechanic. Limited space to the current degree is backwards.

I personally think it's just a simple case of if R* are planning on making a 4th garage available, it's just scheduled for a future update.
