From what I read, I saw that "prive value" could be adjusted. Ok, I'm wrong and nobody is cheating.

 

 

You are partially wrong. In 2013 the value could be changed,then it was patched. The value can still be changed now but it has no effect.

As far as I remember you can back check values thru charles/ifruit. Possibly it would work to see if the 9'5' value still exists, was changed to another value, or deleted completly

Think the 9,5 code has gone... tried 9,0 to 9,6 with no Yanktons. I'm no computer genius unfortunately... just know enough to get by.

Sounds great... Complete story & things like Yankton plates open. Got me buggered why stuff like green window tint is available, but we can't use it, the Yankton plate thing, even emblems on any clothing... & yet R* still turn around & say "we've been listening to what the public wants &...blah, blah, blah"

Really...! I've had alot of help from gtaforums in the past... I got the program from a "long term & trusted member". There are people on here who understand the difference between a harmless glitch / exploit & game-changing mods.

The great thing with it being an open forum is I can freely state my opinion.

 

And if you think the game is boring, find a new one. Fact is, people have unfairly made their game better vs other people's in Online. Simple example is my Insurgent which blows up after 5 sticky bombs and other people's who've added 100% armour to it blowing in 9 sticky bombs. The game doesn't allow you to add armour to that vehicle normally, so why should people be allowed to run around with that?

Plates don't add any extra protection or make a car go faster, but if you can't get it via normal means, why is it fair you should have them? Stop trying to cheat to get your own way. Its like those people scratching their head all day finding loopholes in legislation... That's a simile.

 

People giving themselves money doesn't affect other people's gaming experience either - but it does when that person trolls heists or doesn't put as much effort in because they can't be bothered, due to sitting on millions, or causes havoc in free-roam because they've 'gotten bored' of the game and haven't anything to strive for. Also EULA and Code of Conduct.

 

As has already been suggested, contact R* support. But they'd probably be of no help, for obvious reasons.

Great, I lost all my NY plates, and ifruit never worked for me after I went from x360 from pc, I can't even buy regular custom plates

As was stated earlier in the thread, Charles was once able to change prices. Were you only using Charles to complicate a simple iFruit process such as buying turbo? Manipulating game files is considered to cheating, whether you fail to see it or not.

Yankton are Nerfed. Value 9:5 does no longer produce a Yankton plate. It produces a 9:3 (white san andreas standard). Existing Yankton plates show in Charles as 9:3 BUT display Yankton, so keep hold of those or loose them forever. Turbo is Nerfed, enter the value but it won't process and shows as having standard fitment in LSC. Engine ECU still modifies but no longer highlights the chip icon with cross in ifruit and shows standard, but in LSC as the norm, it shows a purchase price for a standard ECU. Speedo van still goes through and "140" still works which is some relief. Everything else appears to still be active except the cockette blackfin didn't receive it's orders in game despite all the efforts although creating another order showed one in a process with the option to replace. So no cheeky mods on that yet as of last night GMT.

Cost is the same as in game, expensive.

As for the haters, call me a cheat if you want, I'll just imagine you typing naked. There are far more serious issues in this game which are not being dealt with which actually do harm to your game. A plate and a bit more MPH won't kill your game, unless of course you are standing in the road and get hit in which case it would be better to die instantly than in pain, so win all round right?

Same problem here. I can mod the plate to nearly anything I want it to say, but am unable to switch to North Yankton plates despite using the 5 for that plate. I did retain my NY plates on previous vehicles though.

 

People who claim using Charles is "cheating" 1) have never used Charles and more importantly 2) are jealous that they have no idea how to use Charles.

No game files are being manipulated. wtf are you on about? Using Charles is for modifying the Ifruit app to give us more options when we order; that's all.

 

And from what I know, using Charles to manipulate an Ifruit order has NEVER allowed you to change the cash value. Ever.

Then let's just stop getting DLCs since they add more content, and we should "just stick with what the game makes available to us". IT'S A FREAKING PLATE. Does it hurt anyone? Is it going to stop you from playing the game properly? Yeah, I get it's glitching, but there's a difference between game breaking glitches and harmless glitches. This does not hurt anyone. It still costs money, and it just makes your cars a little more unique.

On the T20 appreciation thread, there is a T20 with a Yankton plate, Not sure what that is about as charles is as busy as I get with breaking this game. Answers on a postcard please...
