Creator wasn't fixed at all

And as always, this new Title Update (1.28) additionally includes many other new enhancements, improvements and fixes for known issues. Amongst these items by popular demand will be the ability for creators to make custom Jobs at the Los Santos International Airport and the Fort Zancudo Military Base for the first time. We can’t wait to see what the Creator community cooks up in those previously off-limits areas. We’ve received lots of other fantastic feedback to the official GTA Online feedback inbox from the Creator community about features they’d like to see. One such update that we are currently working on for a next update is a new feature to enable creators to properly stack props, adding proper support for that highly-requested feature powering super fun mega-ramps, loops and parkour courses – please stay tuned for more information on that. Thanks again to the entire Creator community for their amazing, innovative work and very detailed feedback – we encourage all players to please continue sending your wishlists and suggestions to [email protected] as it is of invaluable help in informing positive fixes, tweaks and other updates to the game.

 

 

As we all know, with the last update (not including this one), a lot of creator features were broken. We couldn't stack props, we couldnt use the switch-prop-&-stack "glitch" (to build ramps, diagonal/horizontal bridges, loops, parkour stages, mega-ramps, etc), we couldnt place weapons on props anymore. Then, not to mention, a bunch of glitches were introduced: If you mess around with a dynamic prop, it creates more dynamic props than allowed, which in addition to, moved around/deleted the static props. A bunch of other issues as well such as having to delete a bunch of checkpoints just to edit 1 checkpoint prior to the deleted checkpoints.

 

 

That's cool that they added the airport and zancudo after all this time. But next update? So, what...in a few months? Like Sept-Oct.? Imagine how many ppl wanting to create more deathmatches and races will need to wait or struggle through to make a decent race or deathmatch (with or without props). I, myself, cannot make any more races or deathmatches with simple bridges or short ramps...nor...prop-less races because it takes too long to edit them.

 

What gives? Anyone else hoped that they wouldve fixed the creator?

 

 

Oh, yea, by the way, side note: They re-added the ability to make deathmatches in interiors. That's a start.

I suppose that the bug is taking a while to fix or they already have fixed it and are re-tooling it for easier use.

 

Also, they didn't implement the ability to create interior deathmatches; I triple-checked.

Yeah, So did I. Maybe its only for a few select places. Im on PS3 myself. It works on PS3 it seems.

Off the top of my head, all of the airport interiors (anything that can classify as an interior), work; there are a couple other places around the map that i checked as well. I'll check other places tomorrow. What system/console are you on?

Whaaaaat? I couldn't put jack sh*t in the those hangars. The only "interiors" that can be used are usually ones with small openings to the exterior like a broken roof or a window.

Too bad they restrict us so much. Killing creativity like that, sad story. If they give us option to put team start points and vehicles on props - whole different level of creating. And of course - unlocking all interiors.

what places. i have ps3 ps4 and no interiors are workable. no props. nothin

 

they did delete the hangar at the base and closed the doors to it as well as an apt interior under the map

the biggest problem I'm having right now is the respawn areas in capture creator.

 

I have both teams set to respawn near the reservoir on sea sharks. One team spawns where theyre supposed to, the other team spawn all the way across the city by the helipads.

 

 

Also, you can't die when testing, which doesn't allow you to test the respawn areas. I have to publish and play my broken job just to find out its broken. testing is pointless.

Which hangar? Try the airport, tunnels, stores, hangars, etc.

Dude we can't create jack sh*t there. The hangar we're talking about is the hangar they opened in the recent heist update. You can create in it probably because of the windows.

Oh ok my bad. I never checked zancudos hangars yet. But im having no issues with the airport. Nothing is restricted at the airport it seems.

Some areas in Fort Zancudo are still restricted and from what I have tested, no interiors are able to be used to place props (PS4).

they finally made it allowable for us to create matches and missions in the army base and airport :cookie: but if they really gave a damn they would have never blocked it off to begin with and also they should have never blocked off being able to use the interiors when originally you could but i guess that's gonna come in the next update that we're finally allowing you to re-make matches and missions inside of interiors because we're just so sweet and gingerly.

Prop switching and stacking are NOT fixed on ps3

Team start point on props also not fixed

ps3 has props ps4 doesnt.

I remember when PS3 got it's last prop update and an (Internet) Server was added, but not to CG. I wonder what happens if you build a PS3 job/track and if they are playable on PS4, then what happens to said PS3 props? :blink:

 

Haven't had time to get on for a while and not a priority at this time.

 

(Never mind) I realized that they show up because they are in "the game" anyways and I looked at one of the many you tube videos of my races and the Server prop appears at

And yet they still restrict the interior of fort zancudo air tower. It could have been used for a good capture-contend game. I also don't understand why they restrict DLC weapons. They probably think that DLC weapons would be more useful for holidays events >.<

I've been wanting to create a LTS game based on TLOU (using the musket and marksmen pistol).

PS3: Checkpoint respawn point direction glitch is getting on my nerves. If you lay a checkpoint, and then later decide to tweak the position of the checkpoint where the car respawns in a slightly different direction, editing the direction makes it wonk out to point in some stupid direction. I just left it as is when I made The Dune Boys Derby III the other night. I'll go back and fix it later. Last night I created a track on Fort Zancudo, only had 10 CPs, and I found out you have to delete the CPs after the one you want to edit to make it point properly. I just deleted them all and replaced them when I wanted to nudge a CP. But very annoying, and made editing my 68 CP derby impossible as I sure as hell wasnt deleting 30 some CPs just to tweak one CP in the middle of the course. I moved it, but the cars will respawn a tad askew from the prefered direction. And I still cant stack a third small ramp over 2 small ramps. The 3 small ramp stack is my go to ramp in many of my races for perfect distance and arc, until that comes back, no new super jump tracks for me.

I noticed there were odd seemingly flat locations on the Fort Zancudo runway that wouldnt let me lay down a barrier prop. At the edge of the right runway, if you're facing the ocean, at the edge of the runway, theres a dead zone there.

 

Made me think theres something underneath there, as I had noticed a dead zone in the city where a prop can be placed, but disappears in play mode, but it was right over a subway track path.

Yes, interesting. I found that area too. Around the control-tower, there is a restricted zone with a big diameter. But thats interesting with the train. I guess there is something down there then :)

the air tower at fort zancudo you can't do sh*t with. there's an outline around the whole its area to like tease your asses that you're never gonna get to use it.
