Because it has a high ride height and can wheelie in shorter distances. Not because it's the best bike. The best bike is easily the Akuma or Bati for city races, it depends on your preference. Then of course the Hakuchou (sp?) for drag racing/highway races.

Well you already got the Bati, I would definitely keep that one, at the very least. It's one of my favorite vehicles in the game, I spend way more time on it than in my Osiris, T20, or any of my supers for that matter.

 

Funny thing is, I was considering selling mine for quite awhile, and I never sell vehicles once I buy them. But I had bought it a long time ago, and had planned to just use it long enough to complete all stunt jumps, then sell it. It sat around for ages, collecting dust in my garage. But then when I finally got around to doing all the stunt jumps, I became addicted to the raw power and insane handling of the bike. I also saw that there were many advantages to choosing a bike over a car, apart from being faster.

 

Personally, I think bikes are one of the best kept secrets in GTAO. Everyone goes so crazy over these expensive supers, but the fact is you can buy a $15K sport bike and smoke any one of them. Yet of all the people I've met on GTAO, I can count on one hand how many used bikes. That's another reason I love bikes; it definitely makes a statement.

i personally love the sanchez for riding around and driving towards heist. I've beaten every supercar in the little "pre-race" to the heist mission lol

Variety being the spice of life an all that, I have a wide range of different bike types across both my characters - In terms of GTAO essentials, I would say you have gotta have either the Bati or Akuma for racing, with the Carbon RS and Double T playing the secondary Turismo part - you will win with them, just not as often. Hakouchi (whtevr) is too long to turn well enough to be a contender for racing.

 

The other essential is that GTA staple, the beloved Sanchez. It needs to be fully tuned otherwise you can kiss goodbye to winning custom vehicle off road races. For practicality anywhere north of the city Sanchez is right up there too. Is it me or is Enduro not yet included in the off road class? Shame, coz an alternative would be nice to see things shaken up a bit.

 

Otherwise the rest is kinda cosmetic, buddy. I got a Daemon for cruising, and a Bagger too, had a Hexer, swapped it out etc etc they are all fulfilment in their own right.

 

But holy moly for fun factor there is a behemoth fresh on the scene and that is the Vindicator. It's KERS is basically having a nitro boost (we will soon start seeing this on cars I reckon) and its closer to having a tron lightcycle than the hachooski, and due to its big face it kinda feels armoured - you never feel like smashing through a drop down barrier could swipe you off like the other bikes. Not exactly cheap (pretty sure you can buy all the other bikes for its price?!) But I am not at all disappointed. Yes quite a wide turning circle but that coz otherwise it would render all the other road bikes obsolete.

I'm surprised at the lack of mention for the Double T, It's my go to bike for bike races, Yeah its not the fastest but I very rarely lose a bike race with it.

 

Also you can't leave out the Faggio, Real men ride those, I know I do.

Bati is the best all around. If you want more speed and less maneuverability get a Hakuchou. If you want less speed and more maneuverability get an Akuma.

 

Also, if you don't have a Sanchez get that. It's a must for off road races and is fun as hell to drive.

The Akuma used to be my fav bike by far but once i got a hakuchou I havent been back since. When you pull a wheelie it is so much faster than any other bike out there. Try it and see for yourself

I'll say Ruffian all day every day. You'll never sway me on it at this stage in the game and having owned them all for some time each.

I can totally understand tho anyone who says the Bati is the best due to it being a great all rounder. It's a very solid bike for virtually everything and it's deffo faster than a Ruffian given the same driver riding the same route but having rode these two for months on end the Ruffian just makes lighter work of getting around Los Santos in whichever way you wish to do so. It has became my go to bike and continues to do so on a daily basis. So much so that I have to remind myself to pull out a four wheeled vehicle once in a while lol.

Anyone saying Akuma is the best is on stupid pills because everyone already knows the Bari is the fastest, this is a fact that has been proven over and over again in a racing situation. I would also advise not to buy any of the rest unless you like the look/sound of them

I need a bike, a good bike. Not sure what to make of the on website stats though. Which one is the best, the Bati? The Akuma? The Carbon RS? The Vindicator? (I hear it has KERS?) The Lectro?

 

I own a Bati, and it handles nicely, tops out at about 110mph though unless I'm doing a wheelie, then it's close to 140. Site says 150 for top speed, and mine's even maxed out! Site says the 40k Carbon does 190, is it better than the Bati? Or is it fast with horrible handling? I hear the Vindicator has a wide turning circle and low top speed, but can go from 0 to 90 in about 2 seconds with KERS. So what's your recommendation on overall best bike?

The best bikes are these three. Not saying i don't like the other bikes, as i do. I own 10 street bikes.

 

 

 

Ruffian = Best Handling bike in the game. Period. This bike has amazing control in braking and turning. Great for jumping everything. You can push this bike really hard, and still have control.

 

Lectro = Best Combat bike in the game. Good handling. The Kers boost makes the stop and go in 'combat' much quicker. And the insurance is 9k, which means players who blow it up pay a nice lump sum. Also great for jumping things if you factor the Kers in with the jumping.

 

Bati = Best Racing bike in the game due to its great accel and top speed. Not the best handling but its good enough for racing. Also great for jumping and stunting.

 

 

Not really a fan of a Akuma. And im not sure why so many players keep saying its the best. Because its really not the best at anything. Even tho it is a solid bike and great for racing on certain tracks.

Dinka Double-T hands down. It has the best all round stats of any motorbike in the game. Akuma has slightly better acceleration but once engine upgrades and turbo are installed that is irrelevant. Bati and hakichou have a higher top speed but it is not significantly faster than the double-T.. Pull a wheelie and the double T will put you at the front of the pack

The Bati will usually produce the best results, but the Akuma definitely gives it a run for it's money. The Hakouchou is also up there as well, and if all 3 are being used in a normal race (not just long straights or turns every 3 feet) the best driver will typically win over any bike in particular. However, I give the nod to the Bati.

 

Stats really mean nothing in the game as there are a ton that sit behind it that truly differentiate the bikes that you need to dig into the code to see.
