jackrobot
It's not just the fps drops. This latest update has rendered heist's unplayable. Tried the Pac Standard bank job a few night's ago and none of us could get in our PV's (they were locked) so we stole an AI car to get to the bank. Then money guy freezes trying to grab it (has happened rarely before this update) so we abort and swap roles 3 times with the same thing happening so we gave up. I decided to leave online alone until there was a patch but got a bit itchy today and joined the Signal mission. Low and behold, we get to the Seashark's (the one's closest to the Island) and of course they won't move! "f*ck it" I say, "we'll swim" so the 4 of us swim to the Island, get Avi and guess what? Neither the Police Boat or the Seashark's will move. OK, so we restart and go to the Seashark's that your prompted to go to and the same sh*t happens. So once again I'm leaving the game alone until there's a patch. No doubt R* will create some other issue's when it's released : ).

Blastykins
I have a desktop GPU monitor and have noticed that when firing weapons, especially the minigun, the GPU usage drops to below 40% along with the FPS drop. Stop firing and usage recovers to 100%.
Spider-Vice
Because it's being bottlenecked by the extra CPU cycles it takes to process the natives decryption. Spider-Vice
When are they going to F***ING FIX THIS SH**!!!!!!!!!!!!! Still holding on to this, unfortunately: The console versions also had increasing problems with every patch they got since September 17, I don't think we're going to see fixes. Rockstar's development pipeline is a mess and one can only dream that one day they restructure their whole thing. Guess what, they won't because it gives Sam and Dan their money. They've fixed less bothersome glitches on the console versions before. This one affects the playing experience pretty badly in certain situations so I don't think they want to leave something like this unfixed. It can hurt their reputation and turn people off from the game.
BS_BlackScout
This game needs DX12. Reduce some of the CPU Usage so their Anti-Cheat / Decryption / BitCoin Miner don't f*ck up the performance just like it is doing now. Please for god's sake don't start a discussion if it'll happen or not. Edited July 16, 2015 by TrustedInstaller

BS_BlackScout
It would free up some CPU due to the API Overhead reduction... I mean, each % of CPU does matter in the performance of this game, it takes a lot of processing. IMO the more we can ease the better. Maybe it won't be a big difference, but I'm pretty sure It could happen. Edited July 16, 2015 by TrustedInstaller

insoc
I just can't believe a multi-billion company can't afford COMPETENT programmers to do their work right. Can't this motherf.... test the game on some PCs before uploading a new patch? A programmer messing up a program with a patch is just as faulty as a surgeon doing wrong a surgery or a lawyer messing up a crime trial, they should be sanctioned the same way (malpraxis) as other professionals. Um... while I agree that this is ridiculous that our game was broken with a patch, I wouldn't go as far as to say this is the same level of severity as a surgeon killing his patient.... Nick930930
More like an owner kicking his dog, breaking it's leg and leaving it to heal on it's own... er...ok then. Cept this game isn't going to heal on its own. We have to wait for the owner to have a sudden revelation and actually fix the game.
