Settings Continually Reset?

Over the past few months I have had to configure my settings seemingly every few days...

 

Controls, Audio, Camera, Display...all of them.

if the brightness screen pops up when loading up gta v,exit to ps screen and restart game

do this till it starts the loading screen for online

It happens every time there is a hotfix. You will know that this has happened when you turn the game on and it tells you to adjust the brightness. You will also have to reaccept online polices before it will let you go online.

Strangely enough is it changes the measurement to metric rather than imperial even though I bought a US copy, it's quite annoying. I have to drive 3 miles just to get there!?!? Oh wait it's in Kilometers.

So this isn't anything I can prevent from happening?

 

Now I make sure to load up the game and get into GTAO before I actually want to play.

 

I'm not going through all 40 settings after partaking in my smoke on the water.

It happens if you press or bump the triggers whilst the game is loading. Avoid pressing the triggers to avoid it.

 

If you do just dashboard, close application and relaunch the game
