It's fairly disappointing IMO. Like they barely put in any effort to try and make it distinguishable.

The only distinguishing characteristic of the Knuckledusters is a new 'brass punch' sound in place of a regular bare fist one.

 

l punched a pedestrian with them in Online, and guess what? ... He got up. So lame.

I ran around yesterday as Michael just decking people in the face with the brass knuckles. Got like 60 something kills. Never once saw the "shin kick of death" animation.

i downloaded it and it's in my game now and i never paid money so that's free to me lol

 

 

of course you gotta earn it in game tho... most DLC, whether it's Witcher 3 or Driveclub, typically still has to be earned somehow, whether it be by in-game currency or leveling system. it'd be dumb if all the characters just magically have access to it.

 

they did that with last-gen GTA V and it completely destroyed the economy balance of a new game.

You mean how much you're willing to invest in time in playing this game. Can you imagine how long you have to play by grinding your way into purchasing that 10million dollar aircraft? You can probably collect a week or two worth of a full days of work paycheck just to get that aircraft. Unbelievable.

The only reason why I would buy a shark card, (which I will never do) is if I don't have time to play the game at all, and there's something I really want to buy.

 

That's pretty much what Rockstar is banking on. People buying shark cards to purchase in-game pixels and scripts, and you know what? It's working because of idiots willing to piss way their money to prove themselves to people over the internet. It's quite disgusting to see gaming companies choosing quantity over quality. It's like they sold their souls to the devil.

Then I got the Vindicator. No KERS for it in SP made me stop driving it after about five minutes. It's too ugly to not have a gimmick.

 

KERS is probably too complicated for them to let it be in SP since the bar shares the skill bar and same buttons. KERS is stupid anyways. NOS is what we needKERS is stupid? Watch WEC and F1 dude. The best of the best use KERS. I'm not Sebastian Vettel, but KERS ain't stupid.

 

OT: I think it's a great update and a new radio station is always welcome. The T20 is a superb car, but a bit overpriced like the Osiris. I'm a bit biased with McLaren and the T20 didn't disappoint. The Marksman Pistol is really cool, after watching a couple of John Woo movies, I use it as Michael while slowing down time. It's paunchy too. The others didn't stand out though to be honest. I love the Local Motors Rally Fighter in FH2, but the Brawler didn't have the same excitement as the other off leaders IMO. That is my two cents for this update.

Why in the bloody hell would anyone get a $10 million plane when some wandering asshole like myself can use a $3 million, military-grade jet or $165,000 homing launcher to fvck that $10 million plane up every time?

 

I never understood the logic behind these money-wasting, CoD-like, GTA:O kids out to prove something. It's okay to be superficial in a realistic video game, but why waste money on something that'll most definitely lead to you being wrecked every-single-time?

I'ts a "meh.." with "awesome".

The Progen T20 is awesome, handles nice, sounds perfect and the dynamic spoiler is a good detail (although the animation is not 100% realistic). Price is.. good. I mean I know that R* overprices them so they force us to buy Shark Cards, but since I know how R* is, I was expecting about $3.000.000 for it.

The Coil Brawler was better than I was expected. When they announced it I thought "An electric 4x4? GTFO." But when I bought it It was different. Sounds really good and handles very well, but the brakes are really poor.

The Vapid Chino was a WTF? to me.. I already have the Virgo why I would want that car? Is ugly, slow and handles poor even fully customized. I don't think it deserves the Muscle category at all.

Then the new Coquette (4 different Coquettes in HD Universe.. akward). I can't say anything of it. Looks nice, sounds nice, but looks like it's modeled in ZModeler. Just lift up the bonnet to see how badly the grille looks.

 

Other than that it's nice to see that Rockstar finally didn't broke up anything ingame.

Even more reasons why multiplayer sucks a royal one. Not only you have to spend hours finding quality people to play, but you must schedule an appointment (Yes not everyone follows to your gaming schedule) to play heist with. No f*cking thank you.

Alright, I gotta go back to defending Rockstar. These are facts.

 

Now, about the content from the DLC, who said you had to buy all of them? Who said you had to buy the 10 million dollar jet? Also, there's plenty of ways to make money in GTA Online, such as doing heists, missions, doing jobs like Snipers vs Stunters, which can easily make you at least $50,000, they're fun as well, robbing stores, selling vehicles, doing daily objectives, random events, there's plenty of ways. Also, playing with friends makes it much more fun, quicker, and easier to make money. You do these all in 1 day, you're guaranteed to make at least over $400,000. It may not seem like it, but it will be at the end, just avoid freeroam unless it's necessary to be there for a while. It's not like the DLC is going to go away, it'll always be there. I understand about the limited DLC, but everything else is there permanently, it's not like it's going to be gone tomorrow.

*Sigh*... NPCs have two stances:

1-The normal stance, this is when they are walking around, doing random stuff etc. During this stance since they aren't aware that you'll attack them, they'll usually go down in one hit or sometimes 2 hits OR they might counter you.

2-Combat stance, this is when they're fighting you, they'll usually go down in about 5 hits, HOWEVER with the brassknuckles it'll only take 2 hits with the first always making them fall on the ground.

Both parts are some of the best updates yet IMO. The things that stood out in Part 1 were the Osiris and the Stirling GT that are the only cars with gull wing doors in the game, the engraved tints for certain weapons and the new designs for the internet vehicle sites. Part 2 has the T20 with a dynamic spoiler, something we see for the first time in the series, the return of brass knuckles with different designs we can choose and a new radio station.

 

Overall I'm really happy with both updates, even though the R* Editor wasn't part of it but at least CG players have something to look forward to.

I always have a big interest in the cars in a GTA game, so I´m fully satisfied with this update. The Stirling GT is something I always wished for in a GTA game. The T20 is a riot, I immediately fell in love with this car at the first extensive test drive. The Windsor is a great cruising car, it exactly feels like a big british luxury car should feel, heavy, but with enough power. I also like the Coquette Black FIn, without the roof and with a red/white paint job it looks quite nice. Great car for cruising through Tongva Hills and Tongva Valley on a sunny day.

 

The other vehicles...well, I´m not too interested in golden planes and choppers, the Brawler would´ve been good if the brakes weren´t so sh*tty and the Vindicator is so f*cking ugly that the earth quakes and mirrors crack. But I like the Toro, it looks quite nice and I think it fits Michael very well.

 

I´m quite pleased with the other stuff like brass knuckles, the marksman pistols and The Lab too.

I'm sure online players hate the cost of everything, but this is the V thread, so money is no issue.

 

 

As for the update, I'd say its overall the best update so far. Don't get me wrong, nothing tops the Liberator or Besra, but as a whole, this update gave us the largest variety of unique vehicles. I'm not a supercar fan at all but the T20's moving spoiler draws me in. So, they covered the supercar fans, again. I love the look of the Brawler, too. A shame its not really an off-roader. The handling is pretty bad and two-wheel drive ruins the offroading experience. I can do better offroading in average cars. I'm still a fan, though, and I think offroading fans will still love it to an extent. The Chino is great for those who always ask for average cars, as well as those who ask for lowriders. The Coquette Blackfin is great for those who love classics. It's one of the best looking cars in the game. They covered pretty much everything in the update. It's well-rounded. Can't say any other update has been the same.

I actually never know if LMP1-H actually use KERS.

 

OT: It feels like a mixed bag for me. The T20 was good, but it's not really special for me. Don't get me wrong, I liked P1, but it's name are a bit off for me (the T20 one, not the P1). The Brawler are nice, but it's roof are also a bit off for me. The mods looks good though, makes it looked like a raid car. Already had The Lab on PC.
