I briefly tried the knuckledusters, but holy sh*t overpriced much?

 

Almost everything in those updates is overpriced. I get it, makes sense for Online, but in SP it´s ridiculous when compared to other cars or guns in the game. Especially the new engravings for weapons, they cost many times more than the weapon itself.

 

I´m quite pleased with the update. It´s good to have brass knuckles back, the T20 is a nice car and the Lampadati Toro is a classy boat for Michael. I still have to try out the new Coquette and if it´s possible to make it look less like a "Cockette" at LSC.

 

I was disappointed by the Brawler. Even if fully modified, it has the stopping distance of a freight train. And in my opinion it´s not too great to mess around with it off-road, I still prefer the dune buggy for that.

Had some fun with my new "Flight of the bumblebees" horn making it speed up and down...I'm not a big spender so new cars don't phase me. I'll just take more pride beating the new supers with my Entity.

 

For some reason I thought we would be able to customise the letters on the brass knuckles.

I didn't understand what that part of the update meant at all.

I believe it means you can use the SMG, Assault SMG and Combat PDW in the seat of a helicopter.

It means

You can use SMG class also if you are sitting behind a Van or in a Helicopter.

The only worty addition IMO is The Lab radio station.

Everything else is just more of the same so I rate this update as "Meh".

IGG Part 2 is way better then Part 1.

I like it. A classic GTA weapon with many variants, the new pistol is really powerful, it was in a film called hard target. Fun fact. The T20 handles really well, the dynamic spoiler is also good. It sounds really good too. The new bike is really ugly.

 

In SP you can store an extra car now, also good isn't it? SP got a bunch of fixes too, despite the not caring about it thing people seem to believe in here. A new radio channel with original music, not Eastern European music mind so that's bad I'm guessing. Comparing to others it's very good.

I noticed car drove to garage stays after IGG part 1 now, but doesn't stay after a quick save it's still a good feature

My fav vehicles from update Blackfin,Brawler,T20 I haven't tried the weapons yet

Just a new weapon to forget about, I guess. When I updated from 1.00 to 1.25 I noticed there is now Mines and a whole bunch of other sh*t.

 

Will I use any of the new stuff besides for firing a couple rounds of the weapon? Probably not. Am I sticking to the Combat MG, which has been in the game since the start? Probably.

 

It's just like the Carbonizzare. It's been there since the start and is STILL my favorite Sports Car. Then they made a reskin of it called Massacro and even used the Carbonizzare's tail lights for the Turismo R. All this stuff is meh since day 1...

 

That's why it took me so long to update cuz I could careless. And when I am done and it runs dry again, I will go right back down to 1.00.

Idk about anybody else, but I stick to 1.00 on PS3 because when I update, it appears the graphics get slightly worse, there is stuttering, my license plates change colors and letters/numbers inside Safehouse Garages, the game takes longer to load, and there is more exploits on 1.00 to obtain Special Vehicles and if you have looked at my Profile and/or my 100% Save Topics, Special Vehicle collecting is the main thing I care about in GTA. With newer Patches, Rockstar has removed some exploits you need to obtain some of the Special Vehicles found in V. Without those exploits from 1.00, they are unobtainable, basically.

 

PS4/Xbox One/PC is NOT the same Version 1.00 on PS3 I am talking about. It's only PS3's 1.00 which is very special to me. PS4's 1.00 and the likes is different and has all the PS3 Patches included, thus all the good stuff is removed like I want from PS3's 1.00.

 

Plus, the game I payed for was 1.00 and that is the game I like. With all these new Patches/DLC's, something else usually gets messed up in the game. I only update to mess around. When I am done and totally exhausted the game again, I back it down to 1.00. I can always go back up if I want, but I don't play V that much to even care to do it. This is the first time I updated since May 2014, Patch 1.11, High Life Update.

Damn.....I really loved the knuckledusters in Vice City. Then again, the VC Katana will always be my favourite GTA melee weapon.

 

Quick query, what genre music is the Lab radio station?

Yes, well thank your lucky stars you can play Self Radio. For us humble console users, any additional music is welcome. I'm sure I'll get to like The Lab. I never used to like Space 103.2, Radio Mirror Park or The Lowdown but now that's all I listen to.

 

And like DaWiesel said, people have different tastes. I could apply what you said to any of the rap stations, but that's just opinion. (To me, rap is just really badly written & said poetry, and I quite like some poems)

 

In other news, I'm looking forward to driving the Toro, the Chino and the BlackFin. Not bothering with the T20, might try the Brawler. Is it true that you can remove the roof of the BlackFin and Chino?

The Toro is definitely a boat that I will buy for Michael in the future and then use it to make some photos of the map coasts for the SSA appreciation thread.

I like the weapons and some of the vehicles,I´m not really interested in the clothes and the new radio station,but I was really disappointed we still didn´t get a fourth garage option.In my opinion it was an average DLC,not really bad,but not great either.

As for the rest, the Coil Brawler is by far my favourite car from the update (and possibly my favourite off-roader in V, apart from the Merryweather Mesa, the BF Injection and the Dune Buggy).

 

The Brawler is closely followed by the Vapid Chino. I actually really like the heavy feel to the car; the only problem being that without the roof it looks very much like the Manana and the lack of two-tone paint.

 

I quite like the Coquette BlackFin & its very sexy engine noise. It certainly looks dazzling when going around topless.......my only gripe being the front looks far too similar to the Lampadati Casco.

 

Skipping past the Progen T20.....

 

The Marksman Pistol is pretty good. It's kinda like the musket, but without the long reloading time. It goes well with the Sports Classics vehicles...

The update is good, but not the best. The new radio station is decent, it's nice to have extra music. As for the Knuckledusters and Marksman Pistol, very good weapons. It's nice to have the Bras Knuckles back from the previous games, but I really wish that they bring back the Revolver. The only vehicle I bought so far was the Coil Brawler, but I'm looking forward to buying the Progen pretty soon. So overall, this update is good, better than Part 1 in my opinion. However, Part 1 had better clothes.

Maybe I'm imagining things but I can't help but think the pedestrian count has been upped again after the update (ps4)

Especially the main beach areas, they seem really packed midday time now

What do you think about the T20? I really like this car.
