25% rebate question

Has anyone made their vehicle purchase with the 25% rebate? I did the steps below indicated on the Rockstar Social Club site:

 

1. Be on the Rockstar Games Mailing List

2. Have a verified email address

3. Be a member of any Crew

 

I just want to know if I'm supposed to recieve a confirmation email or an in-game confirmation before I make my purchase. I haven't received an email about the rebate but I also haven't gotten back online after setting it up. Can anyone confirm?

Okay, but did you get the message when you started the game and could see your character? When exactly?

Im guessing it should pop up when you sign into online. Just like when it alerts you of new weapons and vechicles having been added to GTAO. It will probably have the Rstar logo with it instead of just being a plain text box. What confuses me is it says FIRST purchase from Legendary, Even though I qualify with the 3 requirements that wording makes it sound like its for new players, much like how we got discounts for haircuts and all that stuff from liking those lifeinvader pages.

Will you still get the rebate if you change crew afterwards? I don't get why RockStar needs that as a requirement. The first two I understand completely. They want players to verify their accounts and receive their e-mails.

No personal offense intended but that sounds like utter horsesh1t. As long as you meet the requirements prior to the deadline, you would be reasonable to expect the rebate to be applied.

Did you sign up for everything before or after you bought the T20? And did you actually get the rebate?

So long as you met the criteria before buying the car you'll get the rebate regardless of how quickly you did everything.

I know what you meant about the criterias; thats what I did. Im just assuming Rockstar would still detect your first Legendary motorsport purchase, even if you happen to sign up/verify your email adress after your car purchase.
