nelskt1
Hello So with the most recent patch today I know there is alot of talk and upset with ragehook not working and so forth but I think i have a slightly different problem where when I load ragehook.exe I get an error message regarding Scripthook V stating: FATAL: Uknown game version. check http://dec-c.comfor updates Supported Versions: 1.0.335.2, or 1.0.350.1/2 And for some reason I am not able to find those specific versions available to download only the newest version which is the 1.0.350.2 any suggestions on how to get the game to work or update the version or revert the version???? Thanks
Marty892
Theres no support for newest patch yet, we need to wait for new version For now you need to remove ScriptHook.dll from main GTA V directory in order to play the game Edited July 8, 2015 by Insincere
_CP_
If you want to play with mods right now, use patch 1.0.372.2.
nelskt1
OK so now it still says the same error message I state in initial post but next to supported versions it also says 1.0.372.2 which i double checked is the one I have installed. But I remembered a few weeks ago when I first started modding gta V and when I downloaded Scripthook V it came with a file called dinput8.dll and the readme that came with scripthook stated either that file would need to included and to remove the old similar one dsound.dll which I do indeed not have in my gta directory. But when I remove dinput8.dll ragehook does actually load the game but absolutly no mods work and LSPDFR does not work either which is used to which makes me think it still has something to do with the new update but it still did all of this before the update the only mods that worked were LSPDFR and none of the .lua mods or .asi or .dll mods. Any ideas on whats going on? If you want to play with mods right now, use patch 1.0.372.2. Shnockered1
@Nelskt1 You didn't make a backup of the root directory so you could simply restore what was updated?? You should ALWAYS make a backup of the game so that when updates occur, you can quickly restore it to it's former self until everyone updates script files. In the meantime, you will need to do a system restore to a point before the patch update, and then you need to ensure that Steam/Settings/Download is selected to change the time when it updates. You will see where to do that. Change it to a time when you will be asleep and just remember to disconnect from the Internet before you go to bed so that it doesn't auto-update on you again. Presto!!
