This isn't Battlefield, Call of Duty or any other military sim. It's a game revolving around criminals robbing, selling drugs and stealing. We're not bombing third world countries or preparing to create an insurrection in San Andreas. We don't need more tanks, an armoured Barracks and whatever else.

Come back when you play GTA:VCS, GTA:SA and GTA:IV.

 

OT: Even though I'm a warhead, I do agree that we have enough, at least for now. I wouldn't mind PROPER military clothing like what we saw from the Flight School update but nothing more.

We've had like what two - three "rich" styled updates?! We should get a full blown military update. And heist update doesn't count, that was "tactical" stuff.

 

I want some nice armour vests /weapons. Alot of people want a military update aswell, just look at how many people were those heavy vests.

We're not bombing third world countries or preparing to create an insurrection in San Andreas. We don't need more tanks, an armoured Barracks and whatever else.

Nice try, but when I mentioned this awhile ago I was descended upon by a bunch of pube counters arguing how GTAO needs to have tanks, bombs, rpg's, stealth bombers, nukes and lazer guided farting pidgeons... all because.. and get this.. GTA1 had a tank in it.

 

This game is pretty much beyond redemption now, 50% populated by 11 year olds in military hardware, and the other 50% just trying to avoid the annoying immersion breaking twats

I just want proper military clothing. The ones we have in The Heists update is more combat related, the clothes from LTS is sh*t except for the pants, everything else that was in the beginning, might as well remove those.

Wow, there's a lot of room for updates and I am telling you there's a lot of people that want this update, just look at heists, sure it's nice but not the best nor what people asked but everyone is using it, armored vehicles and the clothing I am sure a lot of people will welcome something like this and also more, sure why not, more vehicles and customization and mansions and garages (Everyone crying for that right now) and biker and gangs whatever you want but don't need to cry because someone proposes an idea and worse to get mad about it, sh*t.

no ones 'mad' about the idea............. it's annoying to read posts saying 'lots of people agree' or 'many want it' without any kind backup except you saying it........ as you've just done too.

 

if everyone in this thread had said 'yes, we want that too', OP might have a point, but they didn't, the majority don't want it.......... and as i can't ask ALL gta players, i have to go with the evidence i have(this thread), which is 'most DON'T want it'.

 

you don't speak for 'lots of people' you speak for yourself. and you pretty much ruin your own credibility as soon as you mention 'lots' or 'many' as some kind of proof.

 

Neither is the people saying the Biker, gangs, or the garage and mansions thing, I've seen comment here and there but I accept that there is at least a small proportion of players that want that update and I wouldn't mind it even though it's not what I would like but sure it's ok, so should you, look at the recruitment posts, we have a lot of PMC's recruiting and also bikers and gangs, but don't deny that there is support, you just don't see it.

You can't say because someone is good they must be from cod. It's not anyones fault your feeling negative about PvP. Than again I'm no suprised, you probably play invite only because you get owned in PvP.

I once saw a photo of Trevor with a helmet of the same shape,but with orange flames on the front half.Those WW2 German helmets turned biker helmets look really badass.The Lost MC also has them:

I really hope they add them for players too,same for all the other helmets NPCs and Trevor have.

1. The Hydra is unlock-able - when you finish Vertical Bird you basically own one. You don't "steal" one or anything.
2. The Hunter is unlocked when you get Gold in every challenge in the Flight School.
3. [GTAO] In order to even own any military vehicle you need to unlock AND purchase it. Its even harder than in SA.

I think heist settled that up with the Savage, Insurgents, and armoured kuruma. I'd see a new feature added in online like an annually income (even if it's 50k max every 48 minutes).

Id much rather see them concentrate on fleshing out the open world with things to do. Drug dealing/importing/distribution with your Peg Vs, sticking up stash houses (gang attacks) and selling those Lbows to rivals, enlarging the scope of gang attacks to a capture and hold (Red Dead Land Grabs with crews fighting over control of all territories for rp and cash), breaking criminals out of prison in FR and others. For a game about gangsta sh*+, not much of that going on, lol.

SA:MP is irrelevant. SAMP is a user created mod, while Online was created by Rockstar themselves.

By the way, you couldn't purchase military vehicles in SAMP anyway, so your arguement is invalid.

We already have armored personal carriers with mounted machine guns, a tank, multiple combat choppers, a VTOL attack jet, plenty of combat apparel, but yea you're right: we really need a military update.
