That's irrelevant. A gang DLC has to do with GTA because it's a game revolved around gangs and crime; has nothing to do with being "ghetto". If you want a military

 

style game go play Battlefield, Arma, or Call of Duty. Before we get more tanks, armored vehicles and sh*t we need stuff like Gang territories, gang missions, drug

 

missions, drub busting, and overall less military style DLC.

That's irrelevant. A gang DLC has to do with GTA because it's a game revolved around gangs and crime; has nothing to do with being "ghetto". A military style gameplay go play Battlefield, Arma, or Call of Duty.Is that why we got a hipster update? It's a sandbox. Meaning picking how you want to look shouldn't be a problem. A military dlc is wanted by more. It's been begged for since day 1. And saying only cod kiddies want a military dlc is so wrong. Your trying to generalize a military dlc. Gang DLC - Yea it'd be ok. Nothing special. Random low end clothes, and useless weapons.

 

GTA is a sandbox, meaning anything can be added. Yea it's about crime and stuff, but this far we haven't gotten a gang dlc and we probably won't.

 

Military DLC is wanted by the majority, just look at all those military threads that have been created thus far.

 

You can't generalize a DLC or people wanting a DLC because YOU don't like it. Not everyone wants a low end crappy dlc.

 

Yea it's gangs in V but they're irrelevant, they serve not purpose. Which is one of V mistakes in SP. So a gang DLC wouldn't be special.

nobody cares about your freeroam battles- and i'm sure you haven't won "all" of your freeroam battles either.. nobody does, some people will cheap shot you unexpectedly and then leave. they've one-upped you and there's nothing you can do about it, because they're no longer in your session.

 

unless, you know, you've only played GTA for like, 2 days, got bored and went off to play some other boring military shooter. now, coming back, after a long hiatus from GTA, but ridiculous hours playing CoD, you think you have the leverage to brainstorm ideas for what'd possibly make this game "better". only problem is, this idea has been thought up many times, and has been shot down just about every time.

I'm not a "new V player", and I certainly played SA (still do!). SA had some military content, granted, but it certainly didn't have "loads" and definitely had far less military content than GTAO or V has at the moment. So, I'm a little puzzled by your comment up above...

The thing is, as much as a lot of people want it, you've got to think about what will fit with the game already. Ages ago someone on here suggested pirate ships. Now I'm not saying that's a terrible idea, in fact it sounds pretty damn fun, but it wouldn't have fit with the rest of the game.

 

Imo heavily militarized players and equipment is the same. Yes there's a base in game but that's it, as said this isn't some war torn middle east country.

 

Supercars and rich kids fit the Los Santos area hence why most stuff has been that way, I could see a good biker or gang DLC as once again those have a pretty high presence in the game, far more than the military does. Ok there's Mary Weather (deliberate mistake) but even then its a smaller part of the game, and we already have their services.

 

We got the tank, two fighter aircraft, which is far more than real life criminals could get there hands on. Imo there's far more realistic stuff Rockstar can be getting on with than a full blown military update.

 

But, as I've said before, content is content, and I welcome anything Rockstar are willing to add to the game
