What Are Your Thoughts Of The Lab Radio Station?

I'm not a big fan of it.

 

I hate to be this guy but why the f*ck does R* have a fetish for crappy modern music. In previous GTA's they gave us so many great songs, surely everyone remembers San Andreas' K-DST, that station had nothing but great songs now it barely has an equivalent in GTA 5 except maybe LSRR.

 

Let's see GTA V features:

Los Santos Rock: 70's through 80's rock

Space: Late 70s and 80s funk.

West Coast Classics: 80s/90s rap.

Rebel Radio: 50s through 70s CW..

Lowdown: 60s/70s funk/r&b/soul

Channel X: late 70s/80s punk/hardcore

 

I'd say that's a pretty healthy dose of "classics." you may not like them all, but it's all older music. Blue Ark and even Non-Stop Pop are both heavily slanted to older music as well as modern.

 

So, I'd say you're just being bitchy.

 

Again, the Lab doesn't really appeal to me, but there's no reason to be a crotchy old man.

 

Don't forget Non-Stop has plenty of Pop sops from the 80s and early 90s in their playlist.

Idk about you guys but I wouldn't consider this stuff a representation of good modern music.Would love to see some Imagine Dragons,Vance Joy,Eminem,One Republic etc.Even some better songs from maroon5 and Rihanna.I've never heard anyone my age listening to the stuff on lab radio

Not dissing your opinion, but Imagine Dragons and OneRepublic make me want to slice my throat. As does most of Eminem's latest music.

 

I like some of Imagine Dragons stuff but I'm not a big fan. Can't fathom why he mentioned Maroon 5. Their first two albums, well really their first one, were the sh*t but now they release horrible rubbish with crappy synthwork, it sounds bad compared to how they used to be.

Also hate how it moved the entire radio wheel. All my cars were on LSRR but now that the radio wheel is moved its still selected on the same spot so now i have sh*tty VBR default

Maybe it just me.. but i always feel that the music in GTA is always instant classic regardless of how sh*tty it was in reality.

Even Back Street Boys... ya they suck. But in this game.. at the right moment with the right hooker. Its all

Those were absolute sh*t? Even Trouble? God damn I think you have absolute sh*t taste in music. Those are some of the best songs on the station although I could listen to the whole station because not one song genuinely sucks.It's just boring to listen to. Those songs are centered for those people that say "hip hop is dead", "I want lyricists", etc. The beats are lame & so are the lyrics.

I was kind of hoping against all hopelessness that the LG would get the Expanded Current Gen tracklist on all the stations, but it didn't happen. Oh well don't play the game much these days anyways.

It's pretty good to be honest.

The talking is pretty funny (though I've heard the guy say he's got the hair of a Colombian 6 times already) and the music is generally pretty good and diverse. I really like FlyLo, so this station appeals to me a lot.

It's still better than Rebel Radio.

 

EDIT: Hive and Garbage are still some of the best rap tracks in the game, so this station hasn't changed much.

I like the new station especially K.Y.S.A lock and load, and trouble. But i prefer spotify on ps4.it keeps on handy when i need it
