in all fairness, even though Lil Wayne makes himself out to be a total tool, he's actually pretty smart. my main gripe with him is that i can't stand his voice and some of his songs have like, no depth at all. some are just embarrassing to listen to.

 

he obviously doesn't use all of his smarts to create lyrics, which is what kinda ruins him imo.

 

Tyler the Creator is "ok". just, his style is kinda weird.

i liked keefs first mixtape "bang". had dope ass songs. i only sound out about keef because Lil B remixed Keefs single "BANG!". dont like was dope af too, but kanye and pusha T ruined the remix.

 

lil wayne is a dope punchline rapper. i never was a fan of him, but he has undeniable skills. he was bart of one the most influential rap groups ever. he also featured Lil B on the "sorry for the wait" mixtape, (Which keef referenced on his recent mixtape "sorry for the weight")

 

and tyler is cool i guess... he is an affiliate of Lil B, so thats all that matters to me lol.

I agree with you on the remix of Don't Like, the original is so much better. And yeah, Wayne's wordplay is crazy. Gets less credit than he deserves. Something tells me you like Lil B.

Probably because GTA V is set in the modern world? K-DST is a classic rock station for what was classics in 1992-3 or whatever San Andreas was set in (I forget the year offhand), it's 2015, the definition of 'classic rock' has broadened now to music from the 1980s and early 90s because we're getting older. Like SanAn again, RLS wasn't a classic hip hop station, it was a station for what was modern at the time of SA's setting. Same applies to IV and V, the classics played on them are what are now recognised as fitting into the 'classic' label.

I could switch from 70's yacht rock to modern rap to jazz to 80's pop to early 00's pop to 90's rap to electronica to The Lab's type of music to 90's grunge to indietronica to 80's/90's/modern R&B and so on and so forth. Guess I'm just lucky...

I don't understand all the hate comments towards the lab radio station. It's definitely the best addition in that update and it has also lots of gta themed music by their origin which were on missions.

 

If you don't like it then no need to worry about it then, you can listen othet stations. I thought all would love the lab station because it has new songs.

 

I also would like to have the next gen console songs on old gen consoles too. Maybe this will happen in the Ill gotten gains part 3 or at least I hope so.

Let's see GTA V features:

Los Santos Rock: 70's through 80's rock

Space: Late 70s and 80s funk.

West Coast Classics: 80s/90s rap.

Rebel Radio: 50s through 70s CW..

Lowdown: 60s/70s funk/r&b/soul

Channel X: late 70s/80s punk/hardcore

 

I'd say that's a pretty healthy dose of "classics." you may not like them all, but it's all older music. Blue Ark and even Non-Stop Pop are both heavily slanted to older music as well as modern.

 

So, I'd say you're just being bitchy.

 

Again, the Lab doesn't really appeal to me, but there's no reason to be a crotchy old man.

The last two updates really did suck.. And served as nothing more then a way for R* to sell over priced sh*t and move cash cards.

 

 

But the best part of the last two updates...

 

Il Got 1 = the Strip Club Update.

 

il Got 2.= New Radio station.

 

That new radio station is awesome.. New Music is always great in GTA.
