What Are Your Thoughts Of The Lab Radio Station?

Lab Radio, it Sounds like a shoppings cart going down 10 flights of stairs.

 

Just doesn't have that it factor...think it was just added to promote sales for record release which is genius.

 

lil to late for radio stations sadly, unless they added new content for all stations or a couple new stations to go with the Lab

I was looking forward to The Lab coming to consoles as I felt that some of the songs were great, but, unfortunately, the radio hosts just tip it into that "Never listen to this station list", which is a shame, as like I said, some of the songs are pretty good.

I feel as though the kind of music The Lab plays encompass' the "New Underground" theme that's just starting up again, with neons now in GTA, the NFS reboot being "underground", etc, this genre of music will be synonymous with it, in the same way "To the windoooooow..." was with the "Old Underground".

I like it. The songs are good and easy to listen to. I wish they would have gone with more banter between the hosts and random callers. Some good laughs to be had, but overall it seems to play the most music with the least amount of commercials or interruptions.

My favorites in order:

• K.Y.S.A. - It just feels so modern. Touring the modern parts of Downtown Los Santos whilst listening to this just feels so right.
• Trouble - It reminds me of some of The Roots older stuff which I absolutely loved. I could listen to music like this all day.
• Fetti - I just like the background.
• Play It Cool - Everything except for the chorus.
• Lock & Load - Pretty badass song, perfect for role-playing as 007 in a Massacro or something.
• Wanderer - Relaxing.
• California - I just like the background.

My only gripe with this station is that I want more songs. No annoying commercials or bad voice acting- none of that sh*t.

I redact my original post in this thread - there is one song i like on The Lab, being Fetti by Curren$y and Freddie Gibbs.

I downloaded it on my phone irl, and went for a cruise tonight, i either found a Curren$y fan or a fellow GTA player lol, some dude pulled up next to me in a white suburban, and honked and yelled "MY NIGGA" as the light turned green xD

It's f*ckin great, all the new Earl songs are fire. IMO, they should do away with LSRR and add more songs to Lab and FlyLo, classic rock and metal f*cking suck and are cancer to the ears and to music as an art form altogether. Especially their fans.

I absolutely hate this station. Fly Lo FM was my least favorite before, but this just takes the sh*t-covered crown away. To those who like it, I respect that. In my own opinion, this is the worst radio station in the entire game.

Also it doesn't help that a lot of my cars have switched to VBR thanks to the larger Radio Wheel.

my two favorite songs would have to be K.Y.S.A and Speedline miracle masterpeice, which interestingly enough has a melody identical to a song on VBR... i think it may have been "Sinkane- Shark week" which if it was, would be interesting since both songs have the same artist...
