Lampadati Toro Thoughts?

Just test drove the Toro in single player. Boat seems slower than the Speeder, which is a little bit disappointing considering it has two V12 engines. However, I love the way it looks and sounds. It looks like a higher end version of the Speeder and it sounds more like a car than a boat because of its engines. I think it's pretty unique, but at 1.75 million I'm not so sure about it. If it was under 1 million I would definitely buy it. Anyone else have thoughts on the Toro?

F*ck it, I'm going to pick it up. I'd much rather spend 1.75mil. on a sleek, stylish new boat, than 5-11mil. on some reskinned POS gold aircraft that allows you to smoke and drink inside.

It IS slower. Just did a boat race, myself and two other dudes used the Toro, the 1 guy who picked the Speeder absolutely decimated us. Wasn't even a close race.

When you are in the boat you can get out of the drivers seat without diving into the water, so that's very nice for combat and stuff.

Shame it's slow and cost so much money. I have enough to buy it but that's a lot for something that's really only good for taking photos of.

It has a really familiar engine noise. I want to say it sounds like one of the muscle cars in the game

I bought it, and I've driven it once so far. I don't like how the front is so much higher than the back, and that theres barely any space to stand in inside the interior. Also not that great performance. The seashark is a much better, cheaper alternative, or if you need a 4 seater, theres many 4 seater boats for just ~$25k

Driving it in SP now. Actually looks really cool. Not so much like the Speeder as I initally thought.

 

The engine sound is similar to the Blade. Overall I like the boat a lot.

It doesn't look good enough to justify the pricetag. I like the Pegassi Speeder much better, and it costs just a fraction of the Toro's price.

Decided to buy it since there wasn't anything else from this update that I wanted and had some money to blow. I personally like it a lot, but being that it's a boat I'm not sure how much I'll be using it. It's pretty fun to drive after drinking 10 pisswassers

Actually classic mahogany boats (1920's - 40s era) especially rare ones can fetch 500k-1 million+ easy. In game I agree it's way above it's actual worth. Now if they would've added a cat style offshore racing boat, that I would've paid 1 mill plus GTA dollars for. As long as I could circle the map in the half the time than you could in either a Dinghy, Speeder, or a Jetmax.

For $1.75mil, I'd much rather buy a slightly larger, two-masted Marquis with an actual interior. Maybe the ability to set the sails and cruise, without holding down the 'accelerator.'

the boat is slow acceleration & average top speed . but it's very powerful & can barge many smaller boats
